Company description Fabric Social is a social-first creative agency. We were born into - and built for - the new era of social. An era where audiences gather around interests, communities and culture, not brands. So we built a different kind of agency. One that brings strategy, trend-first creative, production, community, creators and paid into a single social engine - designed for how social actually works. We turn brands on social into social brands - the ones people choose to follow, talk about and bring into culture. Not the ones interrupting it. Some of our clients include Currys, Sky, Subway, Autotrader, Morrisons, Holland & Barrett, Just Eat, Garnier, Vodafone, Kleenex, Andrex, and more. Overview Account Director, Fabric Social We are hiring an Account Director to lead one of Fabric Social’s key client relationships, working with Currys, one of the UK’s leading retail brands. You’ll bring strategic social thinking, commercial awareness and a sharp understanding of culture to work that helps brands stand out. This is a senior client-facing opportunity where you’ll shape the direction of the account, bring creative and production teams together, and turn social insight into work that delivers. Responsibilities What you'll be doing: Lead the day-to-day relationship with Currys and other accounts, building trusted partnerships with senior client stakeholders. Shape integrated social strategies that connect client marketing and business objectives with opportunities across organic, paid, influencer and creative. Bring fresh thinking to clients by translating social trends, platform developments, competitor activity and cultural insight into clear recommendations. Partner with creative, production, paid and strategy teams to turn briefs into high-quality work, from initial direction through to final sign-off. Own the commercial health of your accounts, managing budgets, scopes and delivery while identifying opportunities to grow client relationships. Lead client meetings, strategic planning, campaign conversations and presentations with clear thinking and well-crafted recommendations. Support and develop the wider team through clear direction, useful feedback and collaborative ways of working that raise the quality of what we deliver. Qualifications Skills we're looking for: Strong experience in client services within a social agency or leading brand environment, with the judgement to lead senior client relationships. A strong strategic understanding of social media and what makes brand content relevant, distinctive and effective. The ability to connect social strategy with wider marketing and business objectives, while keeping audience and cultural relevance in focus. Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, scopes and account profitability and identifying opportunities for growth. Clear, engaging communication skills across client presentations, meetings and written work. Experience supporting and developing colleagues, creating clarity and helping people do their best work. A collaborative, organised and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership and navigate complex client and project challenges.
