Employee will be required to work from the El Segundo office four days a week, and can work one day remotely. Overview The Client Budget Analyst supports the day-to-day financial operations by managing client billing requests, vendor purchase orders and invoice processing, reconciliations, reporting, and financial administration. This role partners closely with Account, Media, and Client Finance teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, timely billing, and compliance with agency processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large volumes of financial data, and enjoys managing the operational aspects of client finance. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is adaptable to evolving processes and business needs. Responsibilities Client Billing & Financial Administration Prepare and submit client billing requests timely and accurately. Monitor open billing items and follow up with stakeholders to resolve issues. Support intercompany billing activities. Purchase Orders & Vendor Management Create, monitor, and maintain purchase orders for vendors. Review vendor invoices for completeness, appropriate coding, and supporting documentation. Process and track vendor invoices through approval and payment workflows. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues. Resolve vendor payment inquiries Reconciliations & Financial Analysis Perform routine reconciliations of project costs, billings, commitments, and invoices. Review project actuals and identify coding or allocation issues for correction. Support job setup, maintenance, and closure activities. Reporting & Budget Tracking Produce recurring financial reports for project teams and finance leadership Monitor project spend against approved budgets and identify potential overruns. Maintain trackers and reporting tools used to support financial decision-making. Support future finance reporting initiatives as business processes evolve. Documentation & Process Support Maintain documentation for audit compliance. Assist in maintaining and improving finance processes and reporting tools. Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in client finance, project finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial operations, or related roles. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP SUMIFS Data reconciliation and reporting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience in an advertising, media, marketing, consulting, or professional services environment. Experience working with purchase orders, vendor invoices, and client billing. Familiarity with ERP or financial systems such as SAP. Experience preparing reconciliations and financial reports. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
