The posting

Company description Publicis Sapient is a digital transformation partner helping established organizations get to their future, digitally enabled state, both in the way they work and the way they serve their customers. We help unlock value through a start-up mindset and modern methods, fusing strategy, consulting, and customer experience with agile engineering and problem-solving creativity. United by our core values and our purpose of helping people thrive in the brave pursuit of next, our 20,000+ people in 53 offices around the world combine experience across technology, data sciences, consulting, and customer obsession to accelerate our clients’ businesses through designing the products and services their customers truly value. Overview Senior Consultant – MarTech Strategy As a Senior Consultant, you will shape and deliver marketing technology strategies that align with business objectives, enhance customer experiences, and drive digital transformation. You will work closely with clients and senior stakeholders to assess existing MarTech ecosystems, identify opportunities for optimization, and define future-state architectures and technology roadmaps that enable more effective, data-driven marketing. This role requires a strong blend of marketing technology expertise, strategic thinking, and client-facing consulting experience. You will translate complex business and marketing challenges into actionable technology strategies, providing objective recommendations on platforms, architecture, data capabilities, and emerging technologies. The focus is on strategy and advisory and not solely platform implementation or configuration. Your Impact Lead MarTech strategy and assessment engagements, evaluating clients’ existing marketing technology ecosystems, capabilities, operating models, and business requirements to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop current-state assessments, future-state MarTech strategies, target-state architectures, and prioritized implementation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and marketing priorities. Evaluate MarTech platforms and capabilities beyond tool inventory, including customer data management, identity resolution, marketing automation, personalization, journey orchestration, content management, integration, and measurement. Provide vendor-agnostic recommendations on platform selection, rationalization, consolidation, and modernization, ensuring technology investments address specific business challenges and deliver measurable value. Leverage knowledge of leading MarTech platforms, including Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Braze, Zeta, Treasure Data, and Tealium, to inform strategic recommendations and future-state designs. Partner with senior business, marketing, product, data, and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technology strategies and align stakeholders around transformation priorities. Lead client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and capability assessments to define requirements, evaluate technology maturity, and establish a clear vision for the future-state MarTech ecosystem. Develop strategic deliverables, including assessment findings, executive presentations, business cases, technology recommendations, target-state designs, and phased implementation roadmaps. Advise clients on technology investments, enterprise architecture considerations, platform capabilities, integration requirements, and the trade-offs associated with different MarTech solutions. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, including generative AI and agentic AI, to identify opportunities for marketing automation, intelligent orchestration, personalization, and improved customer engagement. Establish success measures and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of MarTech strategies, technology investments, and marketing transformation initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional consulting teams to ensure MarTech strategies align with broader business transformation, digital product, data, and technology initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing thought leadership and practical recommendations that connect marketing technology decisions to business outcomes. Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in technology strategy, MarTech strategy, marketing technology consulting, digital transformation, or related advisory roles. Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to enterprise MarTech assessments, strategy engagements, platform rationalization initiatives, and technology roadmap development. Strong understanding of the enterprise MarTech landscape, including customer data platforms (CDPs), marketing automation, content management systems, CRM, personalization, customer engagement, and omnichannel marketing. Experience working with one or more leading MarTech platforms, such as Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, Braze, Zeta, Treasure Data, or Tealium. Proven ability to connect marketing and technology challenges to business objectives, customer experience improvements, marketing effectiveness, and measurable outcomes. Experience evaluating current-state technology environments and defining future-state architectures, platform recommendations, and actionable implementation roadmaps. Ability to assess platform capabilities, integration requirements, architectural trade-offs, and technology investment priorities without relying exclusively on hands-on engineering or platform configuration experience. Experience owning key workstreams and personally developing strategic deliverables within client engagements, with the ability to articulate individual contributions and recommendations. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, API-driven integrations, data flows, and the role of technology architecture in enabling connected marketing experiences. Familiarity with emerging AI capabilities, including generative AI and agentic AI, and their potential impact on MarTech architecture, marketing operations, and customer engagement. Proven ability to work with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders, facilitate strategic discussions, and influence technology and investment decisions. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into clear business recommendations. Experience working in a consulting environment with global, cross-functional teams and complex enterprise clients. Set Yourself Apart With Experience leading end-to-end MarTech strategy engagements, from initial client assessment through future-state recommendations and implementation planning. A track record of advising clients on MarTech ecosystem rationalization, platform consolidation, modernization, or large-scale marketing transformation. Broad exposure to multiple MarTech platforms and the ability to make objective recommendations based on business needs rather than vendor preferences. Experience integrating customer data, marketing automation, content, personalization, and journey orchestration capabilities into a cohesive MarTech ecosystem. Experience incorporating AI and agentic capabilities into marketing technology strategies, including identifying appropriate use cases, architectural implications, and opportunities for automation. Experience developing executive-level presentations, business cases, strategic roadmaps, and recommendations for technology investment decisions. Background in digital product strategy, customer experience transformation, data strategy, or enterprise architecture. Experience advising global organizations across complex industries and operating models. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
