Company description At Publicis Groupe Belgium, we are driven by the Power of One: bringing strategy, creativity, media and production together in one integrated agency. More than 200 diverse experts work across four interconnected métiers: strategy & data, creative experiences, media activation and production. We believe that difference does it: bringing together different perspectives, expertise and ideas makes our work stronger. Our ambition is to make brands relevant and interesting to people, influence behaviour and ultimately help our clients grow. And ow, yeah, it’s “Groupe” with an “e”. With our group’s roots in la douce France you can expect loads of Liberté, Curiosité and Créativité. Overview In this function, you work within the fun-loving and diverse Strategy & Data team of Publicis Groupe. You will be showcasing your (lack of) music taste in multiple Spotify playlists with your colleagues while building your skills in outcome-driven media planning. Media Planning is one of the four focus teams within Strategy & Data. As a Media Planning Executive, you get the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of media and advertising and build a strong foundation in media planning, with a clear path forward in this practice. You work closely with Media Planning Managers and Directors, supporting them in translating client briefs and strategies into concrete media plans. Along the way, you learn how audiences, touchpoints, budgets and timings come together and gradually take on greater responsibility within the planning process. Responsibilities You support Media Planning Managers and Directors in translating client briefs and strategies into concrete media recommendations and plans. You help prepare media plans, presentations and internal briefings and gradually develop your understanding of audiences, touchpoints, budgets and campaign phasing. You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to coordinate deliverables, meet deadlines and support the smooth launch of campaigns. You participate in client calls and presentations and help coordinate the resulting follow-up actions with Client Leads, Media Planning Managers and Directors. You coordinate the delivery of campaign assets and maintain contact with media partners and sales houses where needed. You support the competitive benchmarking of clients and their competitors and help turn the findings into useful input for future media recommendations. You support campaign reporting in collaboration with Data Analysts and Touchpoint Experts and help identify learnings that can strengthen future plans. You support the administrative and financial follow-up of media planning assignments, including invoicing and other operational tasks. You support the coordination of media planning for international clients and work with our global hubs where relevant. You actively build your knowledge of media, audiences, platforms and the broader advertising landscape and gradually take ownership of parts of the planning process. Qualifications What makes the real difference is how you think, connect with others and take ownership. The role is always adapted to the personality, never the other way around. We can teach you our methods, processes and frameworks, but you can teach us to make them work. This is a starter position, but we do have a couple of requests: You are curious, honest, brave and generous, and you take ownership of your work. You have a strong interest in brands, marketing, communication and media and are eager to understand how they influence people and contribute to business objectives. You have a first understanding of marketing objectives and strategies, the consumer–product relationship, advertising strategy and/or the consumer–media relationship. You are curious about the media landscape and eager to learn how different audiences, channels and touchpoints come together in a media plan. You are comfortable working with numbers, data and budgets and have the attention to detail needed to work accurately. You have a critical mindset: you are not afraid to ask questions, want to understand why decisions are made and look for ways to improve the work. You are organised and able to manage different tasks and deadlines while keeping a clear overview of what needs to happen next. You enjoy working with different people and areas of expertise and are comfortable asking for input or support when you need it. You have good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and are comfortable contributing in both internal and client-facing situations. You can work independently while knowing when to involve or align with more experienced colleagues. You are fluent in English and Dutch.
