  • Develop and implement individualised treatment and management plans based on patients’ clinical needs.
  • Provide specialist dysphagia assessment, advice and management in line with professional standards and local protocols.
  • Work autonomously while recognising when further clinical input or escalation is required.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support effective patient care and discharge planning.
  • Provide appropriate advice, education and support to patients, relatives, carers and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.
  • Participate in relevant multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions and clinical reviews.
  • Manage clinical priorities effectively within a busy acute environment.
  • Work in accordance with HCPC and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) standards and guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Essential: Previous experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist within an acute hospital setting.

  • Experience working with adults with acquired swallowing and communication difficulties.
  • The ability to independently manage a clinical caseload.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
