Job Title: CT Radiographer Banding: Band 6 Location: West Wales Start: 15 February 2025 End date: 29 March 2025 Duration: Part time Rate: £42.90 - £58.80 per hour Working hours: Saturday & Sunday, 08:00am-20:00pm
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 CT Radiographer to join our clients team in West Wales on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing high-quality CT imaging services to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care.
What will your responsibilities be:
As a Band 6 CT Radiographer, you will be responsible for conducting CT scans, interpreting images, and providing accurate reports. You will ensure the safe operation of CT equipment, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and maintain detailed patient records. Your role will also involve preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any concerns they may have. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and contribute to the continuous improvement of our radiography services.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registration
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in CT radiography
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and interpreting images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
