We are looking for a skilled and motivated Band 6 Orthopaedic Specialist Physiotherapist to join our client's team in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, providing specialised physiotherapy services to orthopaedic patients. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, ensuring the highest standards of care.
What will your responsibilities be:
The Band 6 Orthopaedic Specialist Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopaedic conditions, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, and monitoring progress. Duties include providing manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education to patients, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, participating in clinical audits, and contributing to service development initiatives. Ensuring compliance with professional standards and guidelines is essential, as is engaging in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
- BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Significant experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy
- Proficiency in manual therapy and exercise prescription
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and professional practice
