Descripción de PUR

PUR es una empresa francesa especializada en el desarrollo de proyectos comunitarios de agroforestería y reforestación, así como en la gestión del carbono. PUR ha implementado soluciones basadas en la naturaleza en 400.000 hectáreas en 30 países, desarrollando más de sesenta proyectos que integran prácticas de agroforestería, agricultura regenerativa, reforestación y conservación forestal centradas en cada comunidad local.

PUR desarrolla proyectos dentro de las cadenas de valor de sus clientes para regenerar paisajes y proteger ecosistemas vitales. Mediante la implementación de soluciones basadas en la naturaleza (SBN), ayudamos a las empresas a reducir su huella ambiental y, al mismo tiempo, a aumentar la resiliencia de sus cadenas de suministro frente al cambio climático. A través de programas de reforestación y agroforestería, también establecemos proyectos que amplían las estrategias de reducción de emisiones a escala de paisaje, trabajando fuera de las áreas de abastecimiento de los clientes y adoptando un enfoque integral que contribuye a los objetivos Net Zero de las empresas. Las iniciativas de PUR basadas en la ciencia aumentan el valor de la captura de carbono y generan activos de carbono de alta calidad para las empresas.

Buscamos a una persona o empresa con:

  • Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia demostrable en el desarrollo de planes de gestión forestal, especialmente para proyectos forestales de pequeña escala y/o comunitarios.
  • Experiencia comprobada de trabajo en Guatemala en iniciativas de silvicultura, agroforestería o gestión de recursos naturales.
  • Experiencia comprobada en proyectos de carbono bajo estándares como Verra, Gold Standard u otros similares.
  • Conocimiento de las políticas forestales, los sistemas de tenencia de la tierra y los contextos socioeconómicos de Guatemala.
  • Experiencia en procesos de participación de partes interesadas y planificación participativa.
  • La experiencia en proyectos de captura de carbono o certificaciones relacionadas constituirá una ventaja adicional.

Competencias:

  • Formación forestal con experiencia en el diseño y desarrollo de planes de gestión forestal centrados en aprovechamientos selectivos, estimación de volúmenes de aprovechamiento y análisis del crecimiento arbóreo.
  • Excelentes capacidades analíticas y de redacción de informes.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma autónoma y cumplir los plazos establecidos.
  • Dominio de software pertinentes, por ejemplo, SIG y paquetes estadísticos.

Se invita a los consultores o firmas interesados a presentar lo siguiente:

  1. CV: Del consultor o consultores principales y de cualquier miembro del equipo, si se considera pertinente.
  1. Propuesta técnica: Deberá describir la metodología propuesta, el plan de trabajo y la comprensión de los TdR (máximo 3 páginas).
