We work with leading philanthropists, foundations and partners around the world to raise awareness, connect donors with trusted experts and organisations, and unlock larger, longer-term and more strategic investments. Our mission is to transform how philanthropy addresses childhood sexual violence, making prevention and effective responses a global priority.

Safe Childhoods is hosted by Purposeful Ventures, a UK charity that partners with social entrepreneurs and philanthropists to build and grow organisations that improve the lives of children and young people. Purposeful Ventures is committed to creating a fairer society in which every young person can thrive. The Senior Communications Manager, will be employed by Purposeful Ventures.

The Senior Communications Manager is an exciting new role that will play a central part in developing Safe Childhoods’ communications and strengthening its external profile. Working closely with the Executive Director and wider team, you will help ensure that Safe Childhoods communicates clearly, consistently and credibly with funders, partners and the wider philanthropic and civil society community.

You will help develop and implement Safe Childhoods’ communications strategy, producing high-quality content across publications, newsletters, the website, social media, event materials and donor-facing communications. You will support the Executive Director and senior colleagues with presentations, talking points and written materials, while helping to establish a consistent voice and visual identity across our communications.

You will be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and capable of delivering high-quality work independently, while knowing when to seek input and guidance.

This is an opportunity to take significant ownership of communications within an ambitious, growing international initiative. You will work closely with colleagues across donor engagement, field-facing work and operations, helping to develop the content, materials and communications approaches that strengthen Safe Childhoods’ reach, credibility and impact.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
