As the Housing Manager, you will lead the administration, operation, and continuous improvement of employee housing across the Glacier Park Collection. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, clean, and welcoming housing communities that support employee engagement, retention, and the overall team member experience.

The Housing Manager serves as the primary resource for employee housing, balancing operational needs, occupancy planning, resident relations, facility oversight, policy administration, and budget management. Through strong partnerships with Operations, People Team, Facilities, and external vendors, the Housing Manager helps create an exceptional housing experience that supports both team members and business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

HOUSING OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION

  • Lead the day-to-day management and operation of employee housing facilities across the Glacier Park Collection.
  • Develop and oversee housing assignment strategies to maximize occupancy while supporting business and team member needs.
  • Coordinate housing placements, transfers, move-ins, move-outs, and seasonal transitions.
  • Maintain accurate housing records, occupancy reports, accommodation agreements, inspections, and related documentation.
  • Create and administer processes that improve operational efficiency and resident experience.
  • Monitor housing capacity and proactively identify future housing needs.

COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee housing residents.
  • Respond to and resolve housing-related concerns, complaints, and questions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive community environment.
  • Address resident concerns and facilitate conflict resolution when necessary, including housing violations or evictions where needed.
  • Plan and support initiatives, programming, and events that enhance community engagement and resident well-being.
  • Utilize employee feedback, surveys, and other metrics to continuously improve the housing experience.

MAINTENANCE AND FACILITIES OVERSIGHT

  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of housing-related issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of housing units, in partnership with Operations, to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for necessary repairs and upgrades.
  • Conduct routine inspections of housing units, common areas, and housing facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve housing-related concerns.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor completion to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors performing housing-related services, repairs, and improvements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve facilities, functionality, and resident satisfaction.

COMPLIANCE AND POLICY ADMINISTRATION

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, housing agreements, local regulations, and applicable health and safety requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and consistently enforce housing standards and resident expectations.
  • Conduct investigations related to housing policy violations and resident concerns as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality while addressing sensitive housing matters.
  • Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating housing-related concerns.

FINANCIAL AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

  • Assist with the development and administration of annual housing budgets.
  • Monitor housing-related expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Track housing metrics including occupancy trends, utilization rates, violations, maintenance costs, and resident feedback.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership regarding housing operations and strategic needs.
  • Support long-term housing planning initiatives that align with organizational growth and staffing needs.

LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION

  • Partner with Operations, People Team, Recruiting, Facilities, and leadership teams to support workforce housing needs.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations regarding housing policies, housing utilization, and resident management.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions regarding workforce planning and employee experience initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, respect, safety, and service excellence throughout employee housing communities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in housing management, property management, hospitality operations, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage difficult conversations and resolve conflicts professionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and housing, property management, or related technology platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong collaborative partnerships across departments.
  • Valid driver's license required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Property Management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing employee housing, workforce accommodations, or staff communities.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations, occupancy management, and property management best practices.

REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must successfully meet company Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.
  • Must be eligible to operate company vehicles for business purposes.

What will your work environment be like?

This is a field-based position with approximately 75% of time spent onsite within employee housing facilities throughout the Glacier Park Collection. The role requires regular interaction with residents, operations leaders, maintenance teams, contractors, and company leadership. Occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call availability may be necessary to address urgent housing matters and support resident needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, twist, and climb stairs.
  • Regularly move throughout housing facilities, residential buildings, and outdoor housing areas.
  • Frequently enter and exit employee housing units to conduct inspections, address resident concerns, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with housing standards.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Lift, carry, push, or move items exceeding 50 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
  • Operate standard office equipment including computers, tablets, keyboards, and phones.
  • Drive company vehicles between housing locations and work sites as needed, and regular overnight stays on property.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
