Job Description & Summary

Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Manager Customs & Trade Facilitation, Government and Public Sector Advisory (m/f/d). What if it was you?

Your mission: As a Manager in our Government and Public Sector Advisory team, you will lead strategy and transformation engagements at the intersection of international trade, customs governance, and digital modernisation. Our clients are customs administrations, customs unions, ministries, and international institutions (EU, GCC, WBG, UN and beyond) seeking to transform, modernise, and align with international trade facilitation standards. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Luxembourg, with frequent international travel.

Be a part of our team where you will:

  • Lead and deliver consulting engagements for customs and tax administrations, customs unions, and international institutions, covering transformation, modernisation, and trade facilitation reform agendas;
  • Take ownership of projects in the domain of Single Window, interoperability, and data exchange workstreams, advising clients on architecture, governance, applicable international standards (e.g. WCO Data Model, UN/CEFACT), and implementation roadmaps;
  • Design and deliver training, capacity-building, and knowledge-transfer programmes for public-sector counterparts in EU and donor-funded projects;
  • Manage client relationships, contribute to proposal writing and business development, and represent the team in client workshops, international conferences, and working groups;
  • Coach junior consultants and trainees, structure complex multi-workstream engagements, and ensure the quality and consistency of deliverables (reports, frameworks, presentations).

Let’s talk about you. If you …

  • Have at least 10 years of relevant experience in trade facilitation, customs modernisation, or Single Window implementation, including assignments delivered for or with public administrations and international organisations (e.g. UN, WCO, WTO, EU, WBG, regional development banks);
  • Bring hands-on expertise in areas such as Single Window design and implementation, customs IT systems architecture, customs-to-customs data exchange, or cross-border digital trade, with a solid understanding of international standards (WCO, UN/CEFACT, WTO TFA);
  • Have a strong track record in stakeholder engagement, including delivering trainings, speaking at international conferences or technical working groups, and contributing to thought leadership (articles, studies, working papers) in trade facilitation;
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to structure engagements from scratch, develop new client opportunities, and operate with a high level of autonomy, while being open to frequent international travel;
  • Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken (additional languages such as French, Modern Standard Arabic, or Luxembourgish are considered an asset);

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
