Job Description for Digital Networks Core Project Manager in Sydney.

This role is expected to manage the delivery of upgrades/deployment/technology introduction of Digital Networks platforms such as the Voice Core, Packet Core (4G, 5G) and Mobile Value Added Services such as Messaging, Prepaid and others across the Telecom Network from initiation to operational handover · Candidates with significant project and program delivery experience are encouraged to apply · The ideal candidate will have several years experience managing cross-functional delivery team members within the IT/telecommunications sectors along with tertiary qualifications in IT or engineering. Superior written communications skills are mandatory for this role in which submissions to executives on project status updates are frequently required.

Professional/technical skills:

· Demonstrated analytical planning and forward thinking with the ability to conceptualise and create alternatives

· Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills through high impact influencing and relationship building

· Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a variety of different environments and respond appropriate to unexpected circumstances and deal with ambiguity in an appropriate and decisive manner

· Proven track record in supporting a large team

· Excellent administrative skills, coupled with a general understanding of the program life cycle, project documentation, project standards, tools and methodologies

· Excellent business writing skills by being able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect

· Excellent oral communication skills by expressing information to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information

· Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint.
