Voor een gevestigde voedingsproducent in regio Malle zoeken we een ervaren Food Operations Manager . Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van de site en stuurt een team van ongeveer 20 medewerkers aan. Je zorgt ervoor dat productie, kwaliteit, logistiek en administratie efficiënt op elkaar afgestemd zijn.

Productie & Operations:

  • Je plant en organiseert de dagelijkse en wekelijkse productie op basis van bestellingen, voorraadniveaus en capaciteit.
  • Je bewaakt productiviteit, rendement, kwaliteit en efficiëntie binnen de verschillende afdelingen.
  • Je analyseert resultaten en stuurt processen bij waar nodig.
  • Je volgt productiekosten nauwgezet op en werkt acties uit om rendement te verhogen.

Kwaliteit & Voedselveiligheid:

  • Je waakt over de naleving van alle kwaliteits- en voedselveiligheidsnormen.
  • Je behandelt kwaliteitsafwijkingen en klachten samen met de kwaliteitsverantwoordelijke.
  • Je bewaakt procedures rond hygiëne, traceerbaarheid en wettelijke conformiteit.

Logistiek & Klantenservice:

  • Je zorgt voor een vlotte orderverwerking en tijdige leveringen naar professionele klanten binnen de voedingssector.
  • Je coördineert transport, voorraadbeheer en magazijnactiviteiten.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met verkoop rond assortiment, marges en klantgerichte oplossingen.

Leiderschap & Organisatie:

  • Je geeft dagelijkse leiding aan een multidisciplinair team van ongeveer 20 medewerkers.
  • Je creëert een positieve werkcultuur met aandacht voor veiligheid, samenwerking en verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je bent zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer en ondersteunt je team waar nodig.

Financieel & Administratief Beheer:

  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de directie over KPI's, resultaten en verbeteracties.
  • Je bewaakt budgetten en kosten voor personeel, transport, energie en verpakkingen.
  • Je superviseert facturatie, orderadministratie en andere administratieve processen.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met externe partners zoals sociaal secretariaat, preventiedienst en leveranciers.
  • Je kan terugblikken op meerdere jaren ervaring binnen een productieomgeving, bij voorkeur in de voedingssector.
  • Je hebt ervaring in een leidinggevende functie en bent een echte peoplemanager.
  • Je combineert een hands-on mentaliteit met sterk organisatorisch inzicht.
  • Je bent communicatief, besluitvaardig en resultaatgericht.
  • Je werkt vlot met ERP-systemen en Excel.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands; kennis van Frans en Engels is een plus.
