About Qevlar AI

Qevlar is a B2B SaaS scale-up on a mission to boost the productivity of cybersecurity teams with Artificial Intelligence. We build an AI platform that transitions Security Operations Centers from reactive to proactive units through autonomous security alert investigations.

In just three years, we have:

  • Raised a total of $44m in series-A & seed rounds from EQT Ventures, Forgepoint Capital and Partech
  • Deployed our solution with major Enterprises such as Sodexo and GlobalConnect, and leading MSSPs like Orange Cyberdefense
  • Grown to 1,500+ clients across the US and EMEA
  • Ended 2025 with a strong multi-million dollar ARR, and we're targeting $25M by the end of 2027

We're opening two new product areas: detection engineering (how a security team understands and improves its detection base) and exposure management.

You'll own design for both from day one, working directly with our VP Product, a new PM and squad, and a design team with an established design system to build on.

What you will actually do

  • Own design for detections and exposure, from discovery to shipped product, alongside the PM and engineers. Your first project: the first version of detection base analysis, which shows coverage, noise and gaps in a customer's detections.
  • Spend time with expert users (detection engineers, SOC analysts, SOC managers and MSSPs) and turn how they work into workflows that fit rather than add to it.
  • Design for trust in AI: show Qevlar's reasoning and evidence, let users check and correct it, and help a team move from reviewing a recommendation to acting on it.
  • Make dense data clear: coverage and prioritisation views, relationships between detections, alerts and assets, for analysts and security leaders alike.
  • Prototype in code with AI tools and contribute to the design system, so ideas reach users and engineers in days.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of product design, with a meaningful part on complex, data-heavy B2B products (security, observability, analytics, developer tools or similar).
  • A portfolio that shows your process (research, trade-offs and measured outcomes), not only finished screens.
  • Experience designing for expert users who make high-stakes decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong information architecture, data visualisation and UI craft, with design system contributions.
  • An AI-native, code-literate way of working: you prototype in code with AI tools and are comfortable opening a PR against a component library, while Figma stays core.
  • Experience in a fast-moving startup or scale-up, comfort with ambiguity, and a pragmatic approach to shipping.
  • Based in the UK or France.

Nice to have Security product design (detection, SIEM, XDR or vulnerability management); understanding of SOC workflows; designing for trust in AI or ML systems; graph or relationship visualisations; MSSP or multi-tenant products; French.

What to expect The domain is deep and takes time to learn, AI keeps moving the ground, and our design system is evolving while you build on it.

In return, you get a blank canvas on the area the business has named its top priority and a short path from idea to customer.

Why join us

  • Own design for the area the business has named its top product priority, from a blank canvas
  • Work directly with our VP Product and a new squad, with no layers in between
  • Design for expert users and for one of the hardest problems in AI: making it trustworthy
  • A design system already in place to build on, and to shape
  • A company culture that values autonomy and creativity
  • Opportunity for equity and early ownership
  • We’re flexible on location, France or the UK.

If you’re excited about helping security teams adopt cutting-edge AI, we’d love to hear from you. Let’s build the future of cybersecurity together!

Hiring process

  1. Recruiter Call: Initial conversation about your background, the role, and mutual fit.
  2. Portfolio deep dive: with our VP Product and a product designer: two projects of your choice, one on a complex data or technical workflow, one where you turned ambiguity into clarity.
  3. Live design workshop (90 min): a collaborative session with a designer and an engineer on a real detections problem. Materials are sent 24h before; there's no take-home.
  4. Culture fit: Strategic alignment, vision for platform products, and your career goals.
  5. Reference checks & offer

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
