This job posting is for an existing vacancy.  We’re looking for our next Product Marketing Manager, Active Trader. Could It Be You? In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of product, marketing, and customer experience—shaping how we bring trading platforms, investment tools, and wealth-building products to market for Canadian investors. This is an ideal role for a PMM who is strategically minded, customer-obsessed, and passionate about making investing accessible.  You'll own positioning and messaging for key product lines, partner with product teams to influence our roadmap based on market insights, and work across the organization to ensure our products deliver real value and drive sustained growth.  From early ideation through launch and optimization, you'll lead go-to-market strategies, inform pricing and packaging decisions, and translate deep customer insights into compelling stories that resonate with aspiring traders and long-term investors alike. Need more details? Keep reading… In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Serving as the voice of the customer to inform product roadmap and prioritization for brokerage products.

Collaborating closely with Product Management, Design, and Engineering to align product strategy with market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and customer needs across investor segments from active traders to passive portfolio builders.

Developing and owning end-to-end go-to-market strategies for new trading features, platform enhancements, and investment product launches.

Validating that launches are grounded in customer research and tied to measurable business outcomes including adoption, engagement, and revenue growth.

Creating differentiated positioning and messaging frameworks that articulate product value across the customer journey.

Translating complex financial products and trading capabilities into clear, benefit-focused messaging that respects customer sophistication and avoids industry jargon.

Leading research initiatives including customer interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis to understand investor behaviors, pain points, and unmet needs.

Translating insights into actionable recommendations for product strategy, messaging refinement, and market positioning.

Partnering with Product, Growth Marketing, Brand, Sales, Customer Experience, Compliance and other teams to create cohesive customer experiences.

Acting as the central hub connecting customer insights, product capabilities, and marketing execution.

Collaborating with Lifecycle Marketing to develop customer journey strategies that drive activation, engagement, and retention.

Providing product insights and messaging frameworks that inform onboarding experiences, feature adoption campaigns, and customer education programs across lifecycle stages.

Defining success metrics for product launches and marketing initiatives. Partner with Analytics team to track adoption, engagement, and customer feedback, using data to continuously optimize positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approaches.

So are YOU our next Product Marketing Manager, Internal Acquisition? You are if you…

Have 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or consumer technology

Have a proven track record of launching products that drive adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes

Have a strategic thinker who can translate complex financial products into compelling customer narratives

Are deeply customer-centric—you engage with customers regularly and translate those insights into positioning that resonates across segments

Take pride in being the voice of the customer when they're not in the room, advocating for user needs in product and strategy discussions

Have exceptional project management skills and can lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders to hit ambitious deadlines

Are metrics-driven—you define KPIs, create measurement frameworks, and use data to inform decisions and demonstrate impact

Excel in fast-paced environments, have a bias for action, and demonstrate strong ownership of outcomes

Have strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders

Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $120,000 - $140,000

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
