The posting

* Relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry.

* Must have Reinforced Concrete (RC) construction experience.

* Must be able to independently prepare Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Lifting Plans.

* Must be able to respond to and close out Safety Observations, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Safety Reports.

* Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and MOM requirements.

* Possess relevant safety qualifications and certifications.

* Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.

* Able to work independently and coordinate with project managers, main contractors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

* Implement and monitor workplace safety programmes.

* Conduct site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.

* Prepare RA, SWP and Lifting Plans.

* Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

* Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare required reports to MOM.

* Address Safety Observations and NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.

* Maintain safety documentation, inspection records and training records.

* Ensure workers’ PPE is safe and in good condition.

* Liaise with clients, main contractors and subcontractors on site safety matters.

* Assist the Project Manager with safety matters and attend site meetings.

* Prepare safety reports for management.

* Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
