  Are you passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals? We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Local Home Loan Specialist to join our friendly and supportive team at the Ayr branch, where collaboration, trust and a great team culture are at the heart of what we do.   In this role, you’ll provide exceptional, personalised lending support to both new and existing Members. You’ll handle a variety of lending needs, from personal and credit card loans to more complex mortgage applications, while building strong relationships and becoming a trusted point of contact. You’ll be supported by a close‑knit team that values shared success, work‑life balance and professional growth.   You’ll also support the Area Manager with business development initiatives, help manage loan processing and distribution and play a key role in coaching and mentoring staff. A vital part of the role involves leading our mortgage retention program to ensure our Ayr Members feel supported and valued throughout their lending journey. The successful applicant may be required to work at branches within the region, as required.     About You To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate:

Lending experience and sales skills A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills High attention to detail and accuracy Sound mathematical skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Sounds understanding of Queensland Country products and services (desired)
