Klinisch chemicus (Consultant)

Locatie: Groningen, Nederland

Samenwerkingsvorm: Op consultancybasis, met een intensievere betrokkenheid tijdens de opstartfase van het laboratorium.

Over de functie

In Groningen wordt door QPS NL een nieuw Centraal Veiligheidslaboratorium opgezet om klinische studies te ondersteunen met hoogwaardige klinische laboratoriumdiagnostiek. Hiervoor zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren klinisch chemicus die wetenschappelijk en technisch toezicht houdt op de inrichting en verdere ontwikkeling van het laboratorium. Het gaat hierbij om een adviserende rol (geen functie gericht op de dagelijkse operationele aansturing). In deze functie wordt nauw samengewerkt met onze Lab Manager, die verantwoordelijk is voor de dagelijkse werkzaamheden van het laboratorium.

Verwachte duur

In deze adviserende rol verwachten wij dat de inzet per fase verschillend zal zijn:

  • Opstartfase: ongeveer 10–15 uur per week
  • Gedurende de eerste operationele fase: +/- 8 uur per week
  • Zodra het laboratorium volledig operationeel is: +/- 4 uur per maand

Hoe zien de werkzaamheden eruit?

  • Wetenschappelijk en medisch toezicht houden op laboratoriumonderzoek en het bewaken van de kwaliteit.
  • Begeleiden van methode validatie en het introduceren van nieuwe assays.
  • Beoordelen en goedkeuren van belangrijke laboratoriumprocedures en documentatie.
  • Ondersteunen bij ISO 15189-accreditatie, audits en adviseren over de naleving van de bijhorende wet- en regelgeving.
  • Wetenschappelijk advies geven over protocollen, complexe laboratoriumresultaten en het beantwoorden van vragen van klanten.
  • Adviseren over de laboratoriumstrategie, technologie en toekomstige testmogelijkheden.
  • Samenwerken met de Laboratory Manager om de naleving van relevante wetenschappelijke en kwaliteitsnormen te waarborgen

Welke ervaring neem je mee?

  • Een ervaren klinisch chemicus of een vergelijkbaar gekwalificeerde professional binnen de klinische laboratoriumdiagnostiek, met uitgebreide expertise op het gebied van klinische chemie, hematologie, stollingsonderzoek, serologie en urineonderzoek.
  • Ervaring met ISO 15189, laboratoriumaccreditatie en kwaliteitssystemen.
  • Ervaring met methodevalidatie en de interpretatie van klinische laboratoriumresultaten.
  • Een passende beroepsopleiding, kwalificaties en/of registratie die aansluiten bij de reikwijdte van de functie.
  • Ervaring met klinische studies of binnen de farmaceutische industrie is een pré.
