The posting

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, build, and enhance modern web applications across both the frontend and backend. In this role, you will develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing user experiences while also building scalable APIs, services, and database solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue.js, along with a solid understanding of microservices, database design, application security, and DevOps practices. You will collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, subject matter experts, and engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into reliable, maintainable software.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain dynamic, interactive, and user-friendly web applications across the frontend and backend.
  • Build responsive and accessible user interfaces that deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across devices and browsers.
  • Use TypeScript for both frontend and backend development to improve code quality, maintainability, and type safety.
  • Develop reusable frontend components and application functionality using Vue.js and modern state-management tools such as Vuex or Pinia.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate Figma designs into accurate, accessible, and consistent frontend experiences.
  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
  • Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, API gateways, and inter-service communications.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and review of microservice and event-driven architectures.
  • Develop and manage databases, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
  • Create efficient database schemas, indexes, and queries that support application scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks involving API calls, database queries, frontend rendering, and application workflows.
  • Apply secure development practices to authentication, authorization, encryption, data handling, and API design.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code that follows established development standards.
  • Participate in automated testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support activities.
  • Collaborate with product managers, subject matter experts, developers, and other cross-functional stakeholders during design discussions, feature planning, and solution development.
  • Participate actively in peer code reviews to maintain quality, share knowledge, mentor team members, and reinforce development best practices.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment practices, containerized environments, and cloud-based application delivery.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, architectural decisions, development standards, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience developing full stack web applications in a production environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and backend application development.
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or a comparable technology.
  • Strong experience with Vue.js, including component-based development, state management using Vuex or Pinia, and frontend performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience using TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
  • Experience designing, developing, documenting, and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices, API gateways, and inter-service communication using technologies such as REST or WebSockets.
  • Experience translating Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and visually accurate frontend applications.
  • Practical experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query development, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web accessibility, and modern user-experience practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, and cloud-based environments.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including secure authentication, authorization, encryption, input validation, and secure API design.
  • Experience using Git and collaborative software-development workflows.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with event-driven architecture, message brokers, or asynchronous processing.
  • Experience with automated frontend, backend, integration, or end-to-end testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, observability, and application-performance tools.
  • Knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile or iterative product-development environment.
  • Experience mentoring developers or contributing to engineering standards and best practices.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
