The posting

Can you bring clarity to complex development projects, build commitment across functions and turn plans into delivered results?

Qufora develops intuitive medical devices that help people with chronic bowel disorders live a more fulfilled life. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead important product development projects and help strengthen how we plan, collaborate and deliver.

Based at our headquarters in Allerød, north of Copenhagen, you will join our R&D organisation and work closely with colleagues across Product Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Operations and Commercial, as well as external partners.

Your role

You will take responsibility for the overall delivery of your projects, from defining objectives and establishing realistic plans through development, verification and validation, production readiness and launch.

This requires practical leadership: bringing the right people together, making responsibilities clear, resolving obstacles and ensuring that decisions lead to action. You will connect technical, regulatory, operational and commercial activities in one coherent project plan.

Qufora is strengthening its development organisation and ways of working. Alongside delivering your projects, you will help establish simple, effective project management practices that improve transparency, collaboration and predictability.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional product development projects, taking accountability for scope, schedule, budget, risks and delivery against agreed business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain integrated project plans with clear deliverables, milestones, dependencies, resource needs and decision points.
  • Build and lead committed project teams, clarify responsibilities and agree priorities and resource allocation with functional managers.
  • Drive execution through focused follow-up, structured problem solving and timely decisions. Identify obstacles early and follow actions through to completion.
  • Integrate design control, risk management, verification and validation, regulatory and clinical activities into the project plan, working with the specialists responsible for each area.
  • Work closely with Operations, suppliers and external partners to ensure that industrialisation, design transfer and production readiness are planned and delivered as part of the project.
  • Manage changes and communicate their impact on scope, timing, cost and quality. Present clear status updates, options and recommendations to management and relevant decision forums.
  • Coordinate dependencies and resource constraints with other project managers and the Senior Program Manager, and contribute to better planning, governance and lessons learned across projects.

Your experience and qualifications

  • A relevant BSc or MSc degree in engineering, life sciences or a comparable discipline.
  • At least eight years of relevant project management experience, including substantial experience leading complex, cross-functional product development projects.
  • A proven track record of bringing physical products through development and into production and launch.
  • Strong capabilities in planning, critical path and dependency management, resource planning, budgeting, change management and project risk management.
  • Experience from medical devices or another regulated product development environment, with a practical understanding of design control and quality requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead across organisational boundaries without relying on formal authority.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Formal project management training or certification is an advantage.

How you work

You combine clear direction with respect for people and their expertise. You create commitment through involvement, communicate expectations openly and hold yourself and others accountable for agreed actions.

You are comfortable with uncertainty and can turn incomplete information into practical next steps. You challenge assumptions constructively, address disagreements early and help the team make sound decisions.

You can move between the overall project picture and the details that determine whether delivery succeeds. Your plans reflect actual capacity, and when priorities or conditions change, you make the consequences visible and help the team adapt.

What we offer

A role with meaningful responsibility and a direct contribution to products that improve everyday life for their users. You will work closely with skilled colleagues across the business and have the opportunity to influence both project outcomes and how Qufora develops and delivers products.

You will join an organisation where your experience, judgement and initiative can make a visible difference.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
