At Quincy Medical Group, you are supported to do your best work and make a meaningful impact every day. You will be part of a collaborative, physician-led team that works as one and puts patients at the center of everything we do.

With a connected network of providers, care teams, and services across primary and specialty care, surgery centers, imaging, lab, and therapy, you are part of a system designed to deliver high-quality, coordinated care. Together, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and help improve the experience and outcomes for every patient we serve.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Supervisor supporting our Illinois rural clinic locations, you will take an active leadership role in ensuring our clinical teams operate efficiently, consistently, and with a strong focus on patient care. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate staffing and workflows, and partner with providers and leadership to identify challenges, implement solutions, and drive improvements across multiple locations.

This role is ideal for an experienced RN or LPN who is confident making decisions, enjoys leading and developing others, and takes ownership of results. You will have the opportunity to influence how our clinics operate, establish clear expectations, and build strong, accountable teams while remaining actively involved in patient care.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, primarily daytime hours.
  • Schedule flexibility and travel between QMG's Illinois rural clinic locations will be required based on operational and staffing needs.
  • This is a hands-on leadership position supporting multiple outpatient clinic locations, requiring independence, adaptability, and the ability to balance competing priorities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct daily clinical operations, staffing, and patient workflows across assigned rural clinic locations to maintain consistent, efficient patient care.
  • Establish clear expectations, provide direction, and hold team members accountable for performance, quality, and service standards.
  • Identify operational challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and take initiative to improve workflows and team effectiveness.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, float coverage, and staffing needs, providing direct clinical support when necessary.
  • Partner with providers and departmental leadership to establish priorities, address concerns, and achieve department goals.
  • Lead employee development through coaching, training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and constructive feedback.
  • Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Implement and reinforce standardized workflows, clinical processes, and electronic medical record practices across locations.
  • Monitor staffing expenses, timekeeping, supply utilization, and other operational measures to support responsible resource management.
  • Address patient and employee concerns with professionalism, sound judgment, and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Communicate expectations, operational updates, and process changes clearly across teams and locations.
  • Collaborate with leadership on performance improvement initiatives and other departmental priorities.

Qualifications

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
  • Minimum of five years of nursing experience required.
  • Previous clinical leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make sound decisions, and take ownership of operational outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to establish priorities and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and build productive working relationships.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, implement solutions, and maintain accountability for results.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between assigned Illinois rural clinic locations and provide hands-on clinical support when needed.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.
  • Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.
  • Employer provided life and disability insurance.
  • $5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.
  • Immediate 401(k) match.
  • 40 hours paid volunteer time off.
  • A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.
  • Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
