Ben jij geneeskunde- of biomedische wetenschappenstudent (of net afgestudeerd) en klaar om écht onderdeel te worden van een zorgteam? Wil je meer leren over erfelijke aandoeningen, patiëntcontact én hoe een polikliniek achter de schermen draait? Dan is deze functie als Medical Scribe bij de afdeling Klinische Genetica iets voor jou!

In deze veelzijdige functie draag je direct bij aan hoogwaardige zorg binnen onze presymptomatische poli. Jij bent de onmisbare organisator achter de schermen die ervoor zorgt dat alles soepel, zorgvuldig en op tijd verloopt. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met andere medical scribes, en kun je bij vragen terecht bij artsen en genetisch consulenten.

Beschikbaarheid

  • Startdatum: in overleg, uiterlijk 1 december.
  • Duur van de opdracht: minimaal 6 maanden, met uitzicht op verlenging.
  • Werkdagen: in ieder geval op donderdag. Overige dagen in overleg, van maandag t/m vrijdag.
  • Werktijden: tijdens reguliere kantoortijden.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

  • Voorbereiden van presymptomatische poli’s. Je zoekt stambomen uit, onderhoudt contact met patiënten en laboratoria, verzamelt en controleert gegevens en vult DBC’s (Diagnose Behandelcombinatie) in.
  • Bewaken en opvolgen van uitslagen. Jij zorgt ervoor dat het team altijd beschikt over de meest actuele en complete informatie.
  • Klaarzetten van orders. Je bereidt orders voor geplande afspraken voor, zodat het team tijdens de poli direct aan de slag kan.
  • Voorbereiden van uitslagbrieven. Je zorgt dat brieven snel, volledig en correct verstuurd kunnen worden.
  • Voorbereiden én notuleren van MDO’s (multidisciplinaire overleggen). Je notuleert tijdens besprekingen, legt de informatie helder vast en zorgt dat alle betrokkenen goed geïnformeerd zijn.

Werkplek

Je komt terecht in een enthousiast en betrokken team van medical scribes binnen de afdeling Klinische Genetica. Samenwerking staat centraal: je leert van elkaar, denkt mee in het zorgproces en draagt écht bij aan de kwaliteit van de patiëntenzorg.

In de dagelijkse praktijk werk je vooral zelfstandig op kantoor, samen met de andere medical scribes. Je kunt altijd terecht bij de artsen voor vragen of afstemming, en tijdens de MDO’s heb je direct contact met de medisch specialisten. Op donderdag vindt de patiëntbespreking plaats waarbij jij notuleert, daarom zien we graag dat je in ieder geval op die dag beschikbaar bent.

Profiel

Wij zoeken een enthousiaste en gemotiveerde geneeskunde‑ of biomedische‑wetenschappenstudent die ons team wil versterken tijdens de wachttijd. Je werkt nauwkeurig, denkt proactief mee en vindt het leuk om een belangrijke rol te spelen in een zorgproces waarin medische inhoud en organisatie strak op elkaar aansluiten.

De werkzaamheden zijn afwisselend, maar hebben voornamelijk een administratief karakter. Je kunt rekenen op een flexibele werkplek binnen kantoortijden, waar je veel leert, waardevolle praktijkervaring opdoet en écht iets kunt betekenen voor de patiëntenzorg.

Ervaring met EPIC (Elektronisch Patiëntendossier) is hierbij een pré. Het is geen harde eis, maar wel een voordeel in je dagelijkse werk.

Daarnaast vinden we het belangrijk dat je:

  • minimaal 6 maanden beschikbaar bent,
  • 24-36 uur per week kunt werken,
  • en bij voorkeur op donderdag aanwezig bent vanwege de patiëntbespreking (MDO).

Goed om te weten

  • Bij deze opdracht treed je in dienst bij het FLEXbureau, onderdeel van het Radboudumc. Je krijgt doorgaans bij ons een nul-urencontract. Je hebt recht op een compensatietoeslag van 12% ter verrekening van het recht op vakantie, feest- en verlofdagen. Deze toeslagen komen boven op je bruto uurloon en worden maandelijks aan je uitgekeerd.
  • Voor deze functie is een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) vereist.
