Als arts in opleiding tot oogarts houd je je bezig met de klinische en poliklinische patiëntenzorg. Daarnaast omvat de opleiding diverse onderwijsactiviteiten met stafartsen en draag je bij aan de begeleiding van coassistenten. Ook wetenschappelijk onderzoek binnen de oogheelkunde kan onderdeel uitmaken van de opleiding.

Jouw werkplek

Jij gaat werken op de polikliniek Oogheelkunde. Deze poli is in 2022 helemaal vernieuwd. Denk aan de apparatuur, de units, de spreekkamers en de indeling van de poli. Een moderne en innovatieve omgeving dus. Er heerst een gemoedelijke en laagdrempelige sfeer. We hebben iets voor elkaar over en er heerst een aanpakkersmentaliteit om steeds weer de beste oogheelkundige zorg te bieden. Daar pas jij helemaal bij!

De polikliniek Oogheelkunde is, ook internationaal, een van de meest complexe organisaties binnen een ziekenhuis. Per jaar vinden bij ons bijna 30.000 consulten plaats en op het OK-complex voeren we jaarlijks ruim 3.500 oogoperaties uit. Naast consultvoering wordt er op de polikliniek veel diagnostisch onderzoek gedaan, vaak complexe beeldvorming. Ook vinden er dagelijks laserbehandelingen plaats in onze laserkamers en is er een poliklinische behandelkamer. Op de polikliniek wordt zoveel mogelijk het 'one-stop-shop'-principe gehanteerd, waarbij de patiënt na het initiële consult direct aanvullende diagnostiek ondergaat en daarna terugkomt in de spreekkamer voor de diagnose en de bespreking van het behandelplan.

Deze manier van werken vraagt om een slimme, flexibele organisatie waarbij alle onderdelen op elkaar zijn afgestemd.

Binnen de afdeling Oogheelkunde werken we hard voor onze patiënten, in een goede sfeer en in een hecht team, waarbij we ook regelmatig de tijd nemen voor elkaar om samen na te denken over onze toekomstplannen. In totaal werken we met 100 medewerkers aan de beste persoonsgerichte oogheelkundige zorg. Samen houden we ons bezig met:

  • Academische patiëntenzorg.
  • Onderzoek, voornamelijk gericht op netvliesaandoeningen, zowel basaal als klinisch gericht in ons trialcentrum.
  • Opleiding van artsen tot oogarts.
  • Onderwijs aan studenten in het curriculum Geneeskunde.

Onze collega's zijn onder andere werkzaam op de polikliniek, het OK-complex en in het trialcentrum.

Profiel

Wij zijn op zoek naar een afgestudeerd basisarts die BIG-geregistreerd is en belangstelling heeft voor de oogheelkunde. Je hebt hierin ook al enige ervaring opgedaan. Onze ideale kandidaat kan stressbestendig te werk gaan en is empathisch en patiëntgericht.

Daarnaast beschik je over goede communicatieve vaardigheden en weet je op een prettige en professionele manier met patiënten en collega's om te gaan. Je bent resultaatgericht en bovendien kun je goed samenwerken. Daarnaast beschik je over een uitstekende fijne handmotoriek.

Goed om te weten
