Ben jij een enthousiaste teamspeler met een passie voor analytische diagnostiek? Binnen de sectie Speciële Endocrinologie ben je als analist verantwoordelijk voor specialistische endocriene en eiwitchemische analyses, zowel voor patiëntenzorg als voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Je werkt met geavanceerde technieken zoals LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, ELISA en RIA, en je draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe analysemethoden, met name voor small molecules en peptiden.

Elke dag is uniek: je komt in aanraking met bijzondere casuïstiek, werkt nauw samen met collega’s en levert een directe bijdrage aan de optimale behandeling van patiënten. Je expertise, nauwkeurigheid en initiatief zijn essentieel om onze sectie verder te versterken.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Zelfstandig uitvoeren van specialistische endocriene en eiwitchemische analyses ten behoeve van patiëntdiagnostiek en wetenschappelijk onderzoek.
  • Bijdragen aan de ontwikkeling en validatie van nieuwe analysemethoden voor diagnostiek en onderzoek.
  • Vastleggen, interpreteren en confirmeren van onderzoeksresultaten.
  • Signaleren en verhelpen van storingen aan instrumenten en apparatuur.
  • Onderhouden en verbeteren van het kwaliteitssysteem van het laboratorium.

Jouw werkplek

De sectie Speciële Endocrinologie maakt onderdeel uit van het Radboudumc Laboratorium voor Diagnostiek (RLD), dat deel uitmaakt van de afdeling Laboratoriumgeneeskunde. Het RLD verricht uiteenlopende diagnostische werkzaamheden op het gebied van klinische chemie, hematologie, transfusiegeneeskunde en endocrinologie en ondersteunt daarnaast onderwijs en wetenschappelijk onderzoek.

Binnen de sectie Speciële Endocrinologie vormt een team van 10 collega’s een expertisecentrum voor de diagnostiek van zeldzame endocriene aandoeningen, zoals hormonale stoornissen van de schildklier, hypofyse en bijnieren. De sectie is nationaal en internationaal toonaangevend binnen de speciële endocrinologie en voert specialistische diagnostiek uit voor tal van ziekenhuizen. Het team werkt nauw samen met klinisch chemici, onderzoekers en diverse expertisecentra binnen het Radboudumc en levert daarmee een belangrijke bijdrage aan persoonsgerichte zorg.

Profiel

Wij zijn op zoek naar een gemotiveerde collega met een afgeronde opleiding HLO Analytische Chemie of een vergelijkbaar werk- en denkniveau. Je beschikt over een goed ontwikkeld analytisch denkvermogen.

Je bent vaardig in het werken met computers en maakt laboratoriumspecifieke ICT-systemen snel eigen. Daarnaast heb je ervaring met LC-MS/MS. Ervaring met LC-MS/MS in complexe matrices, zoals bloed, is een pré. Ook heb je bij voorkeur ervaring met het kwaliteitssysteem van een medisch laboratorium.

Bovendien ben je deskundig, klantgericht en nauwkeurig. Je kunt goed samenwerken en beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden. Daarnaast ben je flexibel en zelfstandig inzetbaar.
