Functie

Als hartstimulatiespecialist in het Radboudumc werk je in een academische omgeving waar patiëntenzorg, innovatie en onderzoek met elkaar verbonden zijn. Je assisteert de cardioloog-elektrofysioloog bij de implantatie van pacemakers, ICD’s en ondersteunt bij elektrofysiologische onderzoeken en Catheterablaties.

Daarnaast verzorg je zelfstandig het poliklinisch spreekuur voor de follow-up van pacemaker- en ICD-patiënten. Voorbereiden, begeleiden en bewaken van patiënten neemt een belangrijke plaats in binnen de functie.

Je bent een belangrijke gesprekspartner voor cardiologen en adviseert over de optimale device-instellingen en mogelijke behandelstrategieën.

Ook draag je bij aan onderwijs en training van collega’s en studenten, waarmee je kennis overdraagt en de ontwikkeling van het vakgebied ondersteunt.

Jouw werkplek

Het centrum voor Hart en Vaten biedt topreferente en topklinische zorg in de regio Zuid Oost-Nederland. In ons academisch ziekenhuis houdt het centrum zich bezig met onderzoek, onderwijs en behandeling van hart- en vaatziekten bij volwassenen. Hierbinnen heeft het Radboudumc verschillende aandachtsgebieden/speerpunten die in het meerjaren plan zitten, namelijk TGV: Thoracale ingrepen, Genetische & Congenitale cardiologie, Vrouwen en geriatrische cardiologie. De afdeling Cardiologie maakt ook deel uit van het Hartvaat Centrum.

Bij het Radboudumc Centrum voor Hart en Vaten werk je aan hart- en vaatgezondheid met de nieuwste technieken en behandelingen. In multidisciplinaire teams leveren we integrale zorg voor patiënten met cardiovasculaire aandoeningen, van diagnostiek tot complexe interventies.

De hulpvraag van de patiënt staat altijd centraal. Samen beslissen, innovatie en onderzoek vormen de basis van ons werk, terwijl een lerende en collegiale omgeving volop ruimte biedt om je als professional te ontwikkelen en bij te dragen aan de cardiologische zorg van morgen.

Profiel

Jij bent een hartstimulatiespecialist die technische deskundigheid combineert met klinisch inzicht en zich thuis voelt in een academische werkomgeving. Je werkt nauwkeurig, bent stressbestendig en weet adequaat te handelen bij technische en klinische vraagstukken.

Je communiceert helder en bent in staat om effectief samen te werken met verschillende disciplines. Ook ben je teamgericht en weet je goed samen te werken binnen een multidisciplinair team.

Daarnaast herken je jezelf in onderstaand profiel:

  • In het bezit van het diploma tot hartfunctielaborant met de specialisatie cardio implantaten.
  • Kennis van en ervaring met pacemaker-, ICD- en CRT-systemen en je bent in staat deze zelfstandig te controleren en te programmeren.
  • Affiniteit met academische zorg, innovatie en (wetenschappelijk) onderzoek en je levert hier graag een actieve bijdrage aan.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
