Wil jij als internist-oncoloog bijdragen aan de oncologische zorg van morgen? Bij het Radboudumc krijg je de ruimte om hoogwaardige patiëntenzorg te combineren met academisch onderzoek en onderwijs. Samen met een ambitieus en betrokken team werken we iedere dag aan betere zorg voor mensen met kanker, regionaal, nationaal en internationaal.

Binnen de afdeling Medische Oncologie van het Radboudumc is per 1 januari 2027 een vacature beschikbaar voor een internist-oncoloog (1,0 fte). Gezien de huidige samenstelling van ons team strekt ervaring binnen of affiniteit met het aandachtsgebied melanoom en/of urologische tumoren tot aanbeveling.

Onze doelstellingen binnen de medische oncologie en het Radboudumc voor de komende jaren zijn: patiëntgerichte zorg, onderzoek naar en ontwikkeling van celtherapie, de toepassing van AI in zorg en onderzoek, en duurzaamheid.

Binnen ons team krijg je de ruimte om initiatief te nemen, je expertise verder te ontwikkelen en vanuit jouw talenten en ambities impact te maken op de zorg voor patiënten van vandaag én morgen.

Jouw werkplek

De afdeling Medische Oncologie is onderdeel van het Centrum voor Oncologie van het Radboudumc. Binnen het centrum staat multidisciplinaire samenwerking centraal, zowel in de patiëntenzorg als in het wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Samen met collega's uit verschillende disciplines werken we dagelijks aan de beste behandeling voor onze patiënten en aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de oncologische zorg.

Onderzoek is stevig ingebed in onze dagelijkse patiëntenzorg. Binnen de afdeling vindt vroegklinisch onderzoek plaats en werken we aan innovatieve onderzoekslijnen op het gebied van onder andere farmacologie, pathologie, genetica en beeldvorming. Daarnaast bestaat er een nauwe samenwerking met het Laboratorium Tumorimmunologie, waarmee we nieuwe inzichten uit fundamenteel en translationeel onderzoek vertalen naar de klinische praktijk.

De afdeling Medische Oncologie bestaat uit een betrokken team van 19 stafleden, aangevuld met enthousiaste fellows, arts-onderzoekers en studenten. Samen zorgen zij voor hoogwaardige patiëntenzorg, toonaangevend wetenschappelijk onderzoek en inspirerend onderwijs voor de zorgprofessionals van de toekomst.

Profiel

Wij zoeken een enthousiaste en ambitieuze internist-oncoloog die hoogwaardige patiëntenzorg wil combineren met wetenschappelijk onderzoek, onderwijs en innovatie.

Je bent een verbindende collega, werkt graag samen in multidisciplinaire teams en wilt actief bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de oncologische zorg.
