Voor de versterking van onze chirurgische staf zijn wij op zoek naar een plastisch chirurg met als aandachtsgebied reconstructieve chirurgie, in de breedste zin van het woord (dus ook microchirurgie), borstreconstructies en lymfechirurgie. Je krijgt de kans om als medisch specialist te werken in een innovatief en patiëntgericht team van excellente plastische chirurgen die toonaangevend werk verrichten in binnen- en buitenland. Daarnaast is er altijd een mogelijkheid om je te verdiepen in de andere sub specialismen van de afdeling. Naast deze uitdagende positie in een academische omgeving behoort tot de mogelijkheden het deeltijdwerken (0,2 fte) in een zelfstandig behandelcentrum tot de mogelijkheden.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Zorgdragen voor poliklinisch spreekuur;
  • Uitvoeren van operaties;
  • Participatie aan onderwijs en opleiding van studenten en arts-assistenten;
  • Verrichten van avond-nacht- en weekenddiensten.

Jouw werkplek

De afdeling Plastische Chirurgie van het Radboudumc is een toonaangevend academisch centrum dat naast complexe chirurgische ingrepen, een breed scala aan specialistische zorg biedt. Als onderdeel van het Radboudumc Centrum voor Trauma, Reconstructie en Beweging en het Amalia Kinderziekenhuis, neemt de afdeling een actieve rol in landelijke netwerken en staat bekend om haar innovatieve benadering in zorg, onderwijs en onderzoek.

Onze afdeling is voorloper op diverse expertisegebieden, waaronder borstreconstructie met eigen weefsel en lymfevatchirurgie, multidisciplinaire behandeling van complexe extremiteitsletsels met ledematenreconstructies en complexe hand- en pols en zenuwchirurgie. Er is een sterke focus op kinder-plastische chirurgie, met aandacht voor aangeboren afwijkingen van de extremiteiten en chirurgische behandeling van vaatmalformaties. Het centrum voor schisischirurgie behoort tot de grootste van Nederland en is erkend als Europees expertisecentrum voor craniofaciale aandoeningen. Het aan de afdeling verbonden kinderbrandwondencentrum heeft de erkenning van de European Burn Association. In de transgenderzorg bieden we het hele palet van chirurgische ingrepen aan en zijn we nauw betrokken bij de multidisciplinaire zorg van de gynaecologische oncologie.

Ons team bestaat uit tien stafleden, arts-assistenten, onderzoekers, physician assistants, verpleegkundig specialisten, verpleegkundigen, en administratief personeel. Samen leveren we hoogwaardige zorg en dragen we bij aan de vooruitgang van het vakgebied.

Profiel

Wij zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste en inventieve plastisch chirurg met academische interesse. Je bent betrokken en werkt graag en goed in teamverband. Je bent patiëntgericht en hebt kwaliteit hoog in het vaandel staan. Empathie, leergierigheid, zelfmanagement en integriteit zijn woorden die jou goed omschrijven. Wij nodigen zowel collega’s met ervaring als jonge chirurgen graag uit om te reageren.

Verder herken je jezelf in onderstaand profiel:

  • Een (bijna) afgeronde opleiding tot plastisch chirurg;
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in microchirurgie;
  • Ervaring met de planning van complexe reconstructies;
  • Ervaring in het behandelen van handtrauma’s;
  • Belangstelling voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek;
  • Competenties: kwaliteits‐ en patiëntgerichtheid, inventiviteit, betrokkenheid, samenwerken, empathie, zelfmanagement en integriteit.
