Wil jij een bijdrage leveren om wetenschap toegankelijk te maken voor een breder publiek? Houd je ervan om een brug te slaan tussen onderzoek en de maatschappij? Dan loop jij misschien binnenkort stage bij Radboudumc.

Met ruim 215.000 patiënten, jaarlijks 3.800 wetenschappelijke publicaties, 3.300 studenten, en bijna 13.000 collega’s is het Radboudumc in Nijmegen één van de grootste ziekenhuizen van Nederland. Als universitair medisch centrum richten wij ons op patiëntenzorg, onderzoek en onderwijs. Wij willen voorop lopen in de gezondheid en gezondheidszorg van de toekomst.

Functie

Als stagiair werk je mee in ons team Media & Woordvoering op de afdeling Communicatie. Onder begeleiding van ervaren collega’s ga je aan de slag om de wetenschappelijke antwoorden uit onze onderzoeken te verbinden aan de praktische vragen uit de maatschappij.

Je leert werken in een grote, complexe organisatie en doet praktijkervaring op met alle aspecten van (externe) communicatie. Zoals het schrijven van pakkende verhalen, maken van eigen (uitleg-)video’s voor de website en social media kanalen, en (mede-)begeleiden van TV-/radio-opnames.

Verhalen over onze wetenschappers maak je aan de hand van onze bestaande formats, daarnaast is ook ruimte om nieuwe ideeën uit te proberen. Bijvoorbeeld aan de hand van AI-tools.

Jouw werkplek

Je maakt deel uit van een divers en ervaren team dat bestaat uit acht mensen: drie woordvoerders, drie wetenschapsvoorlichters, en twee social media managers. Samen werken zij aan het verder versterken van de reputatie door het delen van menselijke verhalen door en voor collega's, patiënten, onderzoekers, en zorgprofessionals.

Bij Communicatie, onderdeel van Strategie, werk je aan het versterken van het merk en de reputatie van het Radboudumc. Je verbindt mensen, verhalen en strategie, en draagt bij aan vertrouwen, samenwerking en vernieuwing binnen het Radboudumc.

Profiel

We zoeken een enthousiaste, leergierige, en breed ingestelde student die affiniteit heeft met de wetenschap. Je beschikt over een vlotte pen, kan multimediaal werken, en bent maatschappelijk betrokken. Beheersing van de Engelse taal is een pre. Je bent 32-36 uur per week beschikbaar.

Goed om te weten

  • Je moet staan ingeschreven bij een opleiding om bij ons stage te kunnen lopen. Ben je geen student (meer) aan een erkende opleiding, dan heeft reageren geen zin.
  • Je ontvangt een maandelijkse bruto stagevergoeding van ongeveer €500, bij een stage van 36 uur per week afhankelijk van je opleiding (doe hier de check).
