Ben jij een gedifferentieerd tandarts Gnatholoog en wil je jouw expertise inzetten binnen een academische omgeving waar complexe patiëntenzorg, onderwijs en samenwerking samenkomen? Binnen het Centrum voor Bijzondere Tandheelkunde (CBT) van het Radboudumc krijg je de mogelijkheid om hoogwaardige zorg te verlenen aan patiënten met complexe problemen van het kauwstelsel en het orofaciale gebied.

Als gnatholoog ben je verantwoordelijk voor de diagnostiek, behandeling en begeleiding van patiënten met onder andere temporomandibulaire disfuncties (TMD), orofaciale pijnklachten en complexe functionele problematiek van het kauwstelsel. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's binnen het CBT en met verschillende medische en paramedische disciplines binnen het Radboudumc om tot de best mogelijke behandeling voor de patiënt te komen.

De combinatie van patiëntenzorg, multidisciplinaire samenwerking en de academische omgeving maakt deze functie bijzonder uitdagend. Je krijgt de ruimte om jouw expertise verder te ontwikkelen, bij te dragen aan kennisdeling en een actieve rol te spelen in de ontwikkeling van het vakgebied.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

  • Diagnostiseren en behandelen van patiënten met temporomandibulaire disfuncties (TMD) en orofaciale pijnproblematiek.
  • Opstellen en uitvoeren van complexe behandelplannen.
  • Begeleiden en adviseren van patiënten gedurende hun behandeltraject.
  • Participeren in multidisciplinaire overleggen en behandelteams.
  • Samenwerken met tandheelkundige en medische specialismen binnen en buiten het Radboudumc.
  • Bijdragen aan onderwijs, kennisontwikkeling en kwaliteitsverbetering binnen het vakgebied.
  • Begeleiden van tandartsen in opleiding tot gnatholoog, indien van toepassing.

Jouw werkplek

Je komt te werken binnen het Centrum voor Bijzondere Tandheelkunde (CBT) van het Radboudumc, een expertisecentrum voor complexe tandheelkundige zorg. Binnen het CBT werken tandartsen, tandartsassistenten, mondhygiënisten, psychologen en secretaresses nauw samen om patiënten met bijzondere zorgvragen de best mogelijke zorg te bieden.

Het team Gnathologie bestaat momenteel uit drie gedifferentieerde tandartsen Gnathologie, die nauw samenwerken met diverse (para)medische specialisten binnen het Radboudumc, waaronder orofaciaal fysiotherapeuten, logopedisten, psychologen, MKA-chirurgen, pijnspecialisten, KNO-artsen en neurologen.

Je komt terecht in een deskundig en collegiaal team waarin intercollegiaal overleg, kennisdeling en samenwerking vanzelfsprekend zijn. Samen behandelen jullie patiënten met complexe orofaciale pijn- en functieproblematiek, waarbij nauw wordt samengewerkt met andere disciplines binnen het Radboudumc.

De combinatie van specialistische patiëntenzorg, multidisciplinaire samenwerking en de academische omgeving maakt het CBT tot een inspirerende werkplek. Hier krijg je volop ruimte om je expertise verder te ontwikkelen en een bijdrage te leveren aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de gnathologische zorg.

Profiel

Je bent een gedifferentieerd tandarts Gnathologie die:

  • Beschikt over een geldige BIG-registratie.
  • Geregistreerd is als gedifferentieerd tandarts Gnathologie.
  • Ervaring heeft met de diagnostiek en behandeling van complexe orofaciale pijn- en functieproblematiek.
  • Graag samenwerkt binnen multidisciplinaire zorgnetwerken.
  • Een actieve bijdrage wil leveren aan onderwijs, kennisontwikkeling en kwaliteitsverbetering.
  • Communicatief sterk, verbindend en patiëntgericht is.
