Een leuke en afwisselende baan als zorghulp op de afdeling Intensive Care, Kinder Intensive Care en Medium Care, waarbij je een belangrijke bijdrage levert aan veilige en persoonsgerichte zorg. Kom jij ons team versterken?

Binnen een team van 11 zorghulpen voer je huishoudelijke en logistieke taken uit. Je zorgt ervoor dat de units en patiëntenkamers schoon en opgeruimd zijn en dat de voorraden zijn aangevuld. Je bent betrokken bij het bestelproces en controleert de leveringen. Daarnaast verzorg je het transport van goederen, zoals laboratoriummateriaal, en ook de afvalverwerking behoort tot jouw taken.

Je basisunit is één van de Intensive Care-units of de Medium Care-unit. Naast je basisunit word je ook ingezet op de overige IC/MC-units. De werktijden zijn overdag, zowel doordeweeks als in het weekend, waarbij je een wisselend werkpatroon hebt.

Jouw werkplek

De afdelingen Intensive Care en Medium Care behoren tot de meest medisch uitdagende afdelingen binnen het Radboudumc. Er worden ernstig zieke patiënten opgenomen bij wie één of meer belangrijke lichaamsfuncties zijn uitgevallen of worden bedreigd. Het functioneren van onder andere de ademhaling, de bloedsomloop, interne organen en/of het centrale zenuwstelsel kan zodanig verstoord zijn dat speciale bewaking en ondersteuning noodzakelijk zijn.

De afdeling IC beschikt over drie IC-units voor volwassenen en een MC-unit voor volwassenen. Ook kinderen die IC-zorg nodig hebben kunnen bij ons terecht; speciaal voor hen is een aparte unit ingericht: de Intensive en High Care voor Kinderen.

Een uitgebreid team van gespecialiseerde verpleegkundigen en artsen behandelt en verzorgt de patiënten en informeert en begeleidt hun naasten. Zij worden daarbij ondersteund door diverse medische, paramedische en andere (zorg)professionals uit het ziekenhuis.

De Intensive Care, Kinder Intensive Care en Medium Care maken onderdeel uit van het centrum Acute en Intensieve Zorg. We werken nauw samen met de SEH, AOA, OK en VK om de zorg voor patiënten die acute zorg nodig hebben optimaal te organiseren. Medewerkers van verschillende afdelingen binnen het centrum werken steeds meer samen en worden ook op elkaars afdelingen ingezet. Ook voor zorghulpen worden hierin nu de eerste stappen gezet. Dit biedt mogelijkheden om op verschillende afdelingen mee te werken, met diverse patiëntencategorieën en teams.

Profiel

We zijn op zoek naar een servicegerichte en patiëntvriendelijke zorghulp met een warme persoonlijkheid. Je hebt een proactieve werkhouding en bent collegiaal. Je ziet wat er gedaan moet worden en pakt dit samen met je collega's op. Daarbij weet je goed prioriteiten te stellen en ben je communicatief vaardig.

Bovendien ben je stressbestendig en ga je flexibel om met alles wat het werk met zich meebrengt. Je staat open voor deelname aan kleine projecten en verbeterplannen.

Verder:

  • Heb je een afgeronde opleiding op minimaal vmbo niveau.
  • Heb je ervaring met computer (basis kennis)
  • Ben je bereid om alle voorkomende diensten te werken.

Goed om te weten

  • Het project Ontzorg de Zorg is gestart binnen het Radboudumc. Het project bevindt zich momenteel in een oriënterende fase, waarin wordt onderzocht hoe deze functie binnen de IC/MC onder het Servicebedrijf kan worden gepositioneerd.
  • Voor deze functie is een Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) vereist.
