Job Description

Insurance Specialist (Sales)

Location: Dundalk or Galway (office based)

Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: €30K to €35K plus comms (percentage of salary, 21% minimum OTE) and benefits

At Radius Insurance Solutions, we're looking for an Insurance Specialist (Sales) to join our growing team. You'll act as a trusted advisor to commercial clients, helping them secure the right motor insurance cover while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Advising commercial clients on suitable motor insurance products and cover.
  • Converting inbound and outbound enquiries into commercial insurance customers.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Meeting sales targets and KPIs, including conversion, retention and premium income.
  • Managing customer enquiries via phone and email, providing clear advice and support.
  • Handling complaints professionally, finding solutions and delivering positive outcomes.
  • Working closely with insurers and internal teams to secure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Keeping up to date with industry developments, product knowledge and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • APA or CIP qualified.
  • Educated to degree level with a minimum 2:2 (Lower Second Class Honours).
  • Strong ability to explain motor insurance products and cover options to customers.
  • Proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets and performance objectives.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with experience resolving issues and handling difficult conversations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and compliance requirements.

Desirable

  • Previous experience selling commercial or motor insurance products.
  • Experience working with insurers to place insurance cover on behalf of clients.
