Your future responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs in Java/Spring Boot
  • Build UI in Angular 17+ and gradually migrate existing code to modern approaches (standalone components, signals, new control flow)
  • Integrate services via message brokers (Kafka / RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ)
  • Optimize database work: transactions, queries, explain plan analysis
  • Write automated tests at every level: unit, integration, component
  • Take part in code reviews, architecture discussions, and task estimation
  • Use AI assistants in day-to-day development and share best practices with the team

Your skills and experience:

Backend (required)

  • 4+ years of professional Java development experience
  • Spring Framework: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ
  • Strong RDBMS and SQL knowledge: transactions, query optimization, explain plans
  • Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, clean code, microservices patterns, and secure coding practices
  • Build tools: Maven, Gradle
  • Experience with cloud technologies and containerization/orchestration tools: AWS, k8s, Docker, ArgoCD.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development: Claude, Codex, OpenCode, LLM's

Frontend (required)

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
  • Angular 2+, RxJS
  • Angular 17+ preferred: standalone components,

Soft skills

  • Ownership: you take tasks all the way to production and own the outcome, not just your part of the code
  • Product mindset: you understand what user problem a feature solves and challenge requirements when needed
  • Communication: you explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical colleagues (PO, business)
  • Teamwork: constructive code reviews, willingness to help others and accept feedback
  • Self-organization: you estimate your own tasks and raise risks and blockers early
  • Continuous learning: you keep up with the stack (Angular, Spring, AI tools) and bring new ideas to the team

  • Banking or fintech domain experience
  • English at B1+
