Raisin median: 5 days open

The posting

Raisin is the world’s leading platform for savings and investment products. Founded in 2012, the FinTech connects consumers with banks in the EU, the UK and the US. This gives consumers better interest rates and banks a diversified form of refinancing. Our vision is to offer savings and investments without barriers and thus open up the global 160 trillion euro market.

Raisin currently employs more than 800 people from over 75 countries worldwide. Today, the platform holds over 80 billion euros in assets from more than one million investors which have accrued over 5 billion euros in returns.

Team

The Payment Operations team powers the accurate, timely, and secure movement of funds across the entire Raisin U.S. platform. As a multi-bank deposit marketplace supporting high-yield savings accounts, CDs, and a centralized cash account, Raisin facilitates inbound and outbound ACH transactions, reinvestments, and internal money movement across partner banks, custodial banks, and service bank relationships.

Payment Operations owns the end-to-end payment lifecycle: transaction processing, multi-entity settlement, ledger reconciliation, exception resolution, and operational risk mitigation. The team works hand-in-hand with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Custodial and Service Banks and other partners to build scalable financial infrastructure.

As Raisin expands, we are focused on designing a flexible operational architecture capable of supporting a broader multi-rail payment ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities

The Payment Operations Analyst will be responsible for the day to day execution and operational effectiveness of payments processes, payment accuracy, timeliness and reconciliation, across all of our deposit products. In this role, the analyst will work closely with the engineering and the product team to identify issues and address them on a timely basis to ensure timely and accurate payment processing, and reconciliation.

This role, given the need for accurate, timely payments and ledger accuracy expectations, requires individuals who are self driven, display great accountability for their work, and can operate with autonomy.

  • Be proactive in identifying payment processing or reconciliation issues, escalate appropriately, and take accountability to working with required operating partners to resolve the issue.
  • Monitor payment processing activity diligently to identify and address any signs of fraudulent or suspicious behavior.
  • Analyze existing operational processes, identify areas for enhancement, and develop actionable recommendations to optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, service, partner banks, service bank and custodial banks to resolve payment and reconciliation issues and to implement process and productivity improvements.
  • Establish, monitor and achieve critical payment operations success metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for payment process automation and partner with product and engineering teams to implement automation solutions.
  • Conduct data analysis to generate valuable insights and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Support customer service and finance teams by addressing operational inquiries and issues effectively.
  • Create, follow and maintain precise and comprehensive documentation for operational processes and procedures.

Your Profile

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
