Join Ramcon and play a key role in strengthening service performance, developing people and processes, and supporting profitable growth in a specialized Nordic LabTech and MedTech business.

Ramcon is a leading Nordic distributor of advanced solutions within Life Science, Healthcare, Medical Technology, Chemistry and Industrial applications. Since 1988, the company has built its market position through strong supplier partnerships, deep technical expertise and long-term customer relationships. Today, Ramcon distributes its products and solutions in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland and employs approximately 80 employees across Denmark and Sweden. The company operates from offices in Birkerød, Aarhus, Stockholm, and Gothenburg.

Lead and develop the Nordic service organisation

The Service Director Nordic will have overarching responsibility for Ramcon’s Nordic service business and will be a member of the Nordic Leadership Team. The position combines people leadership, operational management and business development, with full P&L responsibility for the service business and responsibility for translating strategic ambitions into efficient operations and measurable results.

With direct responsibility for the Danish service business and overarching leadership of the service organisations in Denmark and Sweden, the Service Director Nordic will work closely with local Service Managers and Service Leaders. The role is responsible for building a stable, scalable and customer-focused Nordic service organisation, while strengthening collaboration with Sales, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational and direct leadership and development of the Nordic service organisation
  • P&L responsibility, budgeting and performance follow-up for the Nordic service business
  • Leadership and support of local Service Managers and Service Leaders in daily operations and long-term planning
  • Standardisation and continuous improvement of service processes across Denmark and Sweden and preparation for local service presence in Norway and Finland
  • Resource coordination and effective utilisation of service capacity across the Nordic organisation
  • Development, implementation and follow-up of relevant KPIs
  • Overarching responsibility for service contract sales and contract renewals
  • Strengthening collaboration between Sales and Service and supporting customer-focused commercial execution
  • Development of strong relationships and proactive communication with customers and suppliers
  • Supporting digitalisation and automation of service workflows

Nordic leadership with operational impact

The Service Director Nordic will play a central role in developing Ramcon’s service organisation into a more integrated Nordic function. Success in the position requires the ability to combine strategic perspective with hands-on operational leadership while creating clear priorities, accountability and collaboration across countries and functions.

The position offers significant influence on how Ramcon delivers service to customers and organises its Nordic resources. The Service Director Nordic will lead an experienced organisation consisting of service engineers, service leadership and service coordination in Denmark and Sweden and will contribute directly to the company’s continued growth and operational development.

Your profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced service leader with a proven track record of creating results through people, structure and disciplined execution in a technical B2B environment. You understand the commercial importance of a high-performing service organisation and can balance customer needs, quality, resource utilization and financial performance.

Furthermore, the successful candidate is expected to have:

  • Experience in leading service teams across multiple locations
  • Strong people leadership capabilities and experience in developing managers and specialists
  • Experience with P&L responsibility, budgeting, KPIs and performance management
  • A structured approach to process improvement, resource planning and operational excellence
  • Commercial understanding and experience with service agreements, contract sales or renewals
  • The ability to build trust and collaboration across customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • A pragmatic and action-oriented leadership style combined with a strategic Nordic perspective

Experience from Life Science, Diagnostics, Laboratory Solutions, Medical Technology or another specialised technical service environment would be considered very beneficial.
