Klaar om jouw juridische scherpte en strategisch inzicht in te zetten voor een van de meest omvangrijke industriële transitieprojecten? Als Senior Contract & Claim Manager neem je de regie over complexe aankoopovereenkomsten binnen een technisch hoogstaande omgeving waar veiligheid, budget en strakke deadlines samenkomen.

In deze rol ondersteun je het diensthoofd Contract, Claims & Risk Management bij het borgen en opvolgen van alle aankoopovereenkomsten doorheen de volledige projectcyclus:

  • Voorbereiden van technische specificaties, ontwerpbestelorders en het actualiseren van contractdocumenten in nauwe afstemming met Corporate Procurement, Legal en Insurance.
  • Bewaken van contractuele mijlpalen, betalingstermijnen, het opmaken van opleveringsattesten en Notices to Proceed, alsook het tijdig lichten van contractuele opties.
  • Identificeren, documenteren en mitigeren van contractuele risico’s, inclusief een actieve bijdrage aan de After Action Reviews na afronding van deelprojecten.
  • Begeleiden, adviseren en ontzorgen van projectmanagers bij het beheer en de opvolging van hun projectgebonden contracten en eventuele claims.
  • Optimaliseren van contractmanagementprocessen, procedures en tools om best practices breed te verankeren binnen de organisatie.
  • Ontwikkelen en verzorgen van praktijkgerichte trainingen in contract- en claimmanagement voor interne stakeholders.
  • Samenwerken met een toegewezen professional vanuit het Project Support Office voor operationele en administratieve ondersteuning.
  • Minstens 20 jaar professionele ervaring binnen een projectgedreven omgeving, waarvan minimaal 5 jaar gericht op contractmanagement of 10 jaar op strategische aankoop van grote industriële projecten.
  • Grondige praktijkkennis van het opstellen, interpreteren en beheren van complexe contracten, algemene voorwaarden, onderhandelingen en inkooptrajecten.
  • Uitgesproken zelfstandige en proactieve manier van werken met oog voor detail en risicobeheersing.
  • Sterk onderlegd op organisatorisch, communicatief en interpersoonlijk vlak met een bewezen trackrecord in onderhandelen en conflictbeheersing.
  • Bewezen vermogen om sterke, constructieve relaties op te bouwen en te onderhouden tussen interne afdelingen en externe partners.
  • Vloeiende beheersing van het Nederlands en het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk; kennis van het Frans of Duits vormt een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Relevante achtergrond of aantoonbare affiniteit met grootschalige industriële productie-, energie- of procesinstallaties, dan wel de leergierigheid om deze specifieke domeinkennis snel eigen te maken.
