Breng jij diepgaande elektrische expertise samen met strategisch adviesvermogen om next-generation aandrijfsystemen in de windenergiesector naar een hoger niveau te tillen?

Als Senior Electrical Systems Engineer fungeer je niet als uitvoerende handkracht, maar als inhoudelijk baken en sparringpartner. Je adviseert engineeringteams bij complexe vraagstukken, legt standaarden vast en zorgt dat elektrische architecturen voldoen aan de strengste internationale normen en betrouwbaarheidseisen.

  • Standaardisatie & specificatie: opstellen en aanscherpen van elektrische productspecificaties (kabelselectie, kabeltrajecten, behuizingen, connectoren, aarding en EMC/afscherming).
  • Component- & instrumentatieselectie: definiëren en selecteren van motoren, drives en zowel actieve als passieve sensoren (temperatuur-, druk- en niveaumetingen) voor nieuwe platformen.
  • Root cause analyse (8D) & veldondersteuning: analyseren van complexe storingen, parasitaire stromen (stray currents) en harmonische vervorming, inclusief het coördineren en uitvoeren van gerichte meetcampagnes op testbanken en windturbines.
  • Compliance & certificering: borgen en valideren van dossiers volgens normen zoals CE, IEC (en waar relevant UL/CSA).
  • Kennisdeling & mentoring: begeleiden en coachen van interne en internationale engineers om het overkoepelende elektrische competentieniveau duurzaam te verankeren.
  • Masterdiploma in Elektrotechniek, Elektromechanica of een gelijkwaardig technisch domein.
  • Ruime en doorleefde ervaring met het specificeren van industriële elektrische systemen, motorselecties, kabelberekeningen en sensorintegratie. Een achtergrond met meerdere dynamische projecten of uiteenlopende industriële omgevingen wordt sterk gewaardeerd.
  • Gedegen praktische en theoretische kennis van industriële laagspanningsinstallaties en relevante normeringen (o.a. IEC-standaarden voor machines, netkwaliteit en windsystemen); affiniteit met middenspanning is een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring met aarding, equipotentiaalverbindingen, EMC en het interpreteren/oplossen van harmonische verstoringen.
  • Bekend met meet- en analyseapparatuur (zoals netanalysatoren/Fluke, aardingstesters en multimeters) en het omzetten van data naar structurele oplossingen.
  • Vaardig in het werken met CAD-omgevingen voor bedradingsschema’s en kabelroutering (zoals AutoCAD en Creo).
  • Vloeiende beheersing van het Engels in woord en geschrift; kennis van het Nederlands en/of Duits is een sterke troef.
  • In het bezit van een rijbewijs B en bereidheid tot frequente afwisseling tussen regionale R&D- en productiesites in Vlaanderen (Limburg/Antwerpen), aangevuld met incidentele reizen (circa 10%) voor metingen en veldinterventies.
  • Geldige certificeringen voor BA5 en onshore turbine-toegang (GWO: minimaal Working at Heights en First Aid) of bereidheid deze op korte termijn te vernieuwen/behalen.
