I am currently working with an established technology solutions provider specializing in high-transaction, real-time enterprise platforms. They focus on delivering scalable, highly available, and secure software systems for global clients.

About the Job

  • Act as a strategic consultant to executive management, providing expert advice on technology direction, system architecture, and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead and mentor a robust technical department of approximately 50 professionals across frontend, backend, and mobile engineering (excluding QA).
  • Evaluate and restructure existing technical processes to better support complex client projects, delivery pipelines, and stringent compliance standards.
  • Build engineering frameworks and delivery pipelines from scratch, systematically embedding modern AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows to boost productivity.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design of cloud-native solutions, microservices, and API integrations ensuring high availability and secure-by-design principles.
  • Maintain a strong technical pulse on the ground, remaining willing to be hands-on to guide the team through complex software development life cycle (SDLC) challenges.

Skills and Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a highly quantitative field, with 12+ years of software engineering experience and at least 6 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Deep technical foundation in building high-transaction distributed systems, coupled with the hands-on capability to build scalable frameworks from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling and managing large engineering teams (50+ headcount) across multiple disciplines.
  • Proven expertise in modern cloud architecture (AWS preferred), microservices, CI/CD automation, and generative AI integrations (e.g., LLM APIs).
  • Strong background in technical governance and risk mitigation, with the ability to confidently present and advise the C-suite and enterprise clients.
  • Certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF), cloud security (CISSP/CISM), or familiarity with high-volume transactional compliance standards (like GLI) are highly advantageous.
