Join a leading Singapore public-sector organization to manage and secure critical, large-scale enterprise network infrastructure.

about the role In this role, you will help run, design, and secure our enterprise network across data centers and remote sites. You will keep our network highly available, build secure system architectures, and manage day-to-day security operations and audits. Your key responsibilities:

Design and build secure system and network architectures. Embed security best practices into new systems to lower risk from new technologies. Create design documents and blueprints showing how security fits into the overall system. Keep critical network and security hardware running 24/7. Configure and troubleshoot high-end routers, switches, and load balancers.Schedule firmware updates, handle automated backups, and plan maintenance with stakeholders. Manage and harden firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet) and Network Access Control (NAC). Run regular reviews and audits of security systems. Keep security standards, procedures, and asset documentation up to date. Lead root cause analysis for network and security issues. Work with security governance teams to fix vulnerabilities and audit findings. Help the Infrastructure Manager with projects, change management, and vendor management.

skills and experience

  • Strong experience with Cisco routers/switches, F5 Load Balancers, BGP, OSPF, STP, VRRP, 3-tier architecture, and VPNs (IPsec/Remote).
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet firewalls, Aruba ClearPass (NAC), IPS/IDS, and proxy solutions.
  • Experience designing secure architectures, running system security audits, and documenting security standards.
  • Skilled using SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark for troubleshooting and analysis.
