Als Duty Terminal Manager ben jij de operationele rechterhand van de terminal manager.

Je zorgt voor een vlekkeloze flow van alle goederenstromen per spoor, truck en kade volgens strikte SLA's. Je stuurt operationele teams direct aan, houdt toezicht op de werkvloer en optimaliseert continu processen.

Een uitdagende rol met veel autonomie en verantwoordelijkheid.

  • Je hebt een Master Nautische Wetenschappen op zak, of een relevante Bachelor aangevuld met overtuigende ervaring in een maritieme/logistieke context.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk en drukt je vloeiend uit in het Nederlands en het Engels.
  • Je bent een daadkrachtige people manager die teams weet te motiveren, coachen en aansturen op de werkvloer.
  • Je beschikt over sterke organisatorische vaardigheden en kan snel en doeltreffend schakelen bij onverwachte operationele situaties.
  • Je hebt ook voor een continue procesverbetering, efficiëntie en veiligheid.
  • Je bent stressbestendig, flexibel ingesteld en vlot met courante IT-toepassingen.
  • Je bent bereid om in te stappen in een regeling met dagwerk (08:00 - 18:00 uur) en periodiek weekendwerk.
  • Direct aansturen, coachen en ondersteunen van de operationele teams.
  • Monitoren en sturen van alle dagelijkse kade- en terminalbewegingen volgens de SLA's van de klanten, met scherpe focus op spoor- en trucktrafiek.
  • Zorgen voor een optimale planning van ploegen, rollend materieel en technische ondersteuning met oog op kostenefficiëntie en rendement.
  • Actief aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer om operaties van dichtbij op te volgen, snel beslissingen te nemen en helder te communiceren.
  • Nauw samenwerken met interne diensten en klanten voor een gestroomlijnde planning en escalatiebeheer.
  • Borgen van het veiligheids-, kwaliteits- en milieubeleid en actief meewerken aan ZERO-damage en incidentpreventie.
  • Periodiek rapporteren van operationele KPI's en meewerken aan Kaizen-verbetertrajecten.
