For an international technology leader, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer with a leader's mindset who isn't afraid of a challenge and can deliver tangible results. Our client has a key project underway that needs to be boosted to peak performance. We are seeking a hands-on expert who is willing to roll up their sleeves, take a high-level view of a complex production line, assess the complete process from A to Z, and deliver solutions.

This role is also a great opportunity for managers who want to get back to their roots—to genuine process engineering, hands-on shop-floor work, and leading a smaller, highly specialized team.

What awaits you:

  • Project Optimization: Stabilizing and optimizing the execution of a manufacturing project that needs a new direction and fine-tuning to reach peak performance
  • Driving Innovation: Conducting a comprehensive assessment and integration of the individual stages of an extensive technological line with an engineering perspective (forming, grinding, heat treatment, painting, surface treatment)
  • Analytical Diagnostics: Defining key metrics, statistically evaluating processes, and designing smart systemic changes
  • Strategic Collaboration: Coordinating key engineering activities across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure the highest standards
  • Methodological Risk Management: Performing PFMEA analyses, setting standards, and guaranteeing process capability
  • Team Leadership: Steering, supporting, and developing a team of four manufacturing engineers, serving as both their technical backbone and mentor
  • International Presentations: Presenting and defending results, data, and innovative solutions in English
  • Strong process background: Several years of experience as a process engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on approach: Willingness to roll up your sleeves, go directly to the shop floor, and understand processes both in detail and in a broader context
  • Technical know-how: Deep knowledge of process validation, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and root cause analysis
  • Natural leadership: Experience in people management, developing junior colleagues, or project-managing an engineering team
  • Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills, ability to define the right data metrics/KPIs, and design workable solutions
  • Drive for results: Demonstrable track record in boosting OEE, reducing scrap rates, and successfully industrializing new products with real business impact
  • Language skills: Fluent English required for communication with international colleagues
  • Nice to have / Added bonus: Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt), experience with advanced automation, or knowledge of SAP software will put you one step ahead
