The posting

Overview

The Pricing Strategy Analyst will support RealPage’s enterprise pricing and monetization strategy through quantitative analysis, financial modeling, competitive intelligence, and pricing performance monitoring. The role will analyze pricing and packaging opportunities across new and existing products, evaluate commercial performance, and support the development of fact-based pricing recommendations. Working closely with Pricing Strategy leadership and cross-functional partners in Product, Finance, Sales, RevOps, and Business Units, the Analyst will contribute to pricing optimization initiatives, new product launches, and ongoing improvements to pricing frameworks. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing pricing and monetization analytics, including analysis of new SKU launches, pricing changes, bundles, packaging, price levels, product mix, customer adoption, and pricing-related margin implications. Develop analytical models, conduct scenario analyses, and prepare findings to support pricing decisions.
  • Analyze opportunities to optimize the existing SKU portfolio, including price adjustments, SKU consolidation, packaging changes, migration strategies, and simplification of legacy pricing structures. Identify trends, quantify opportunities, and support the development of recommendations.
  • Support pricing and packaging development for new products and capabilities, conducting market research, financial modeling, customer segmentation, competitive benchmarking, and willingness-to-pay analyses to inform price points, value metrics, and launch economics.
  • Monitor and analyze commercial performance, including promotions, discount patterns, price realization, product mix, adoption, and effectiveness of pricing programs. Develop recurring analyses and reporting to identify performance trends, highlight deviations, and support pricing optimization initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive and market pricing intelligence, researching competitor pricing models, packaging, value metrics, and commercial practices, as well as emerging SaaS and AI monetization trends. Maintain competitive pricing databases and synthesize findings into actionable insights for Pricing Strategy leadership.
  • Support pricing governance and strategic decision-making, preparing data analyses, financial models, presentations, and supporting materials for Pricing Council and other executive decision forums. Assist with tracking pricing decisions, documenting recommendations, and maintaining pricing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy transformation initiatives, supporting the development and implementation of evolving pricing models, value metrics, segmentation approaches, bundling principles, and SKU architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather data, validate assumptions, monitor progress, and support execution of approved pricing initiatives.
  • Support Oracle CPQ and master data enhancements by partnering with Pricing Strategy, Product, Finance, Business Systems, and other stakeholders to gather and document requirements, contribute to process and solution design, validate pricing and product data, support user acceptance testing, and assist with implementation and post-launch review

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
