We are hiring Pharmacy Assistants / Pharmacy Technicians to be outsourced to our client from a reputable healthcare organization.

Job Responsibilities

- Assemble and compound sterile products using aseptic techniques in a GMP-compliant cleanroom.

- Adhere to aseptic techniques when compounding sterile medications.

- Operate compounding equipment safely and accurately in accordance with established SOPs.

- Ensure accurate documentation of compounding activities, including batch numbers and expiry dates, in compliance with GMP standards.

- Collect environmental monitoring samples and perform routine quality checks as required.

- Manage inventory of drugs, consumables and related materials, ensuring proper storage under recommended conditions.

- Perform routine cleaning of work areas and equipment in accordance with SOPs while maintaining cleanroom standards.

- Assist the Production Supervisor in maintaining statistics and data for reports relating to sterile compounding.

- Comply with safety protocols, hygiene standards and GMP requirements, including maintaining aseptic and gowning qualifications.

Requirements

Pharmacy Technician:

- Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science from a local polytechnic or equivalent; OR

- Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC); OR

- Foreign pharmacy degree not recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.

Pharmacy Assistant:

- Part-time Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceutical Science); OR

- Other Diploma, Higher NITEC or NITEC qualifications with relevant experience may be considered.

- Candidates pursuing part-time studies will start as Pharmacy Assistants. Full-time study candidates may be considered for Pharmacy Technician positions, subject to the relevant qualifications.

- Previous aseptic or sterile compounding experience is desirable but not essential.

- Must be comfortable wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) and working in a cleanroom environment.

- Working hours: 5.25 days per week, with staggered office hours of 8.30am–5.30pm or 9.30am–6.30pm.

- Working location: Circle Line MRT
