Exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join a semiconductor manufacturing company, supporting supply chain goals for low-volume, high-mix parts and assemblies across the Asia-Pacific region.

Location: bus from Ang Mo Kio / Serangoon Employment type: Permanent Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm Salary: ~$4,200/month, with AWS and Variable Bonus

Overview

  • Support the implementation of supply chain goals for a set of low-volume, high-mix parts and assemblies
  • Responsible for the cost, quality, delivery, and on-hand inventory for a subset of suppliers within the AP region

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor daily reports, MRP, and Vendor Portal to ensure timely delivery of products to the manufacturing site
  • Procure materials for manufacturing and aftermarket requirements
  • Evaluate supplier performance on metrics such as cost, quality, and delivery, resolving all accounts payable issues and interfacing on all technical issues
  • Identify and develop new supply sources as required
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, aftermarket, and engineering departments
  • Implement lean programmes with suppliers
  • Maintain inventory at planned levels
