The posting

A leading insurer is looking for a Claims Analyst to assess medical and non-medical claims accurately and within turnaround time. You will work closely with providers, policyholders and internal teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Review and assess local and overseas medical and non-medical claims against policy terms and authority limits
  • Review and approve pre-authorisation and letter-of-guarantee requests in line with policy terms and regulatory benchmarks
  • Liaise with medical providers, policyholders and intermediaries for additional information
  • Follow up on failed bank transfers and payment rejections, including voiding, refund entries and reprocessing
  • Request and track the creation of insured members and medical service providers in the system
  • Prepare claim settlement letters and file claim documents accurately
  • Update statements of accounts relating to hospital bills and claim settlements
  • Resolve claim queries and disputes professionally and efficiently
  • Follow up with clinics and hospitals on billing enquiries
  • Meet turnaround time and quality targets consistently

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Insurance, Finance or a related discipline and above
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data checks
  • Insurance experience required; group claims experience is a strong advantage
  • Good understanding of medical claims and billing is helpful
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-handling skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple cases
  • Team player who works well independently
