The posting

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: Central Salary: $2,200 – $2,300/month Contract Duration: 4 Months (Until 28 February 2027) Working Days & Hours: 5.25 Days/Week (Alternate Saturdays)

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist doctors and healthcare professionals in conducting eye examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Perform basic ophthalmic investigations, including eye tests and glaucoma screening.
  • Support ophthalmologists in assessing and diagnosing various eye conditions.
  • Operate specialised eye-testing equipment under supervision.
  • Record examination results and update patient information in the database.
  • Assist with administrative duties and maintain accurate records of procedures performed.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Technology or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required – training will be provided!
  • Candidates with a relevant science background are welcome to apply.
  • Willing to learn how to operate ophthalmic testing equipment.
  • Meticulous, responsible and comfortable interacting with patients.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to commit until 28 February 2027.
  • Comfortable working 5.25 days per week, including alternate Saturdays.
