Job Scope

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment faults, identify root causes, and carry out repairs to minimise production downtime.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals to support maintenance and repair activities.
  • Support equipment installation, setup, testing, and qualification when required.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, and servicing schedules.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and support manufacturing ramp-up.
  • Adhere to workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and relevant manufacturing requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any other related technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
