Salary: Up to $5,000++ basic (depending on experience) + shift allowance + benefits

⏰ Working Hours:

  • Now till Dec 2026: Monday–Friday, 8am–5.30pm
  • From plant go-live (Q1 2027): 12-hour rotating shifts (8am–8pm / 8pm–8am)
  • Shift Pattern: DN OO DN OO (Day / Night / Off / Off)

Job Scope:

  • Operate and maintain the site's Steam Boiler System to ensure a continuous and reliable steam supply for pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
  • Perform daily monitoring, inspection and troubleshooting of boiler equipment and related systems.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Investigate equipment breakdowns, identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor boiler performance and support energy-saving initiatives to optimise water, electricity and steam consumption.
  • Assist with maintenance planning, engineering improvement projects and updates to SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with GMP, EHS and workplace safety requirements.
  • Lead, guide and train shift technicians to ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, semiconductor or other large-scale manufacturing industries.
  • Must possess a valid Steam Boiler Engineer Certificate or at least Steam Boiler Attendant Certificate (1st Class).
  • Experience with other utility systems such as HVAC, cooling towers, chilled water, compressed air or purified water systems will be an advantage.
