Job Overview

The Temporary Plaster Technician Assistant will support plaster technicians in providing safe and efficient casting services. This role involves preparing materials, assisting with cast application and removal, coordinating follow-up appointments, and maintaining smooth plaster room operations to ensure timely care and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist plaster technicians with cast application and removal procedures.
  • Prepare and manage plaster room supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Provide basic patient assistance and communicate instructions as required.
  • Support follow-up arrangements and appointment scheduling.
  • Assist with documentation and daily workflow coordination.
  • Adhere to infection control procedures and workplace safety protocols.
  • Maintain professional conduct when interacting with patients and healthcare staff.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum GCE N/O Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, A Level or relevant Diploma qualifications.
  • Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Willingness to learn and keen interest in plaster and casting services.
