The posting

  • Working Hours: 3 shifts, any 5 days a week
  • Receive laboratory specimens (such as whole blood collected in purple-top or red-top blood tubes) and reject those that are unsuitable for processing
  • Sort and pack laboratory specimens for couriers/porters at designated send out schedules
  • Keep the work area clean, neat, and tidy
  • Operate the Laboratory Information System to perform functions such as result query, order entry, packing list for send out, and result entry
  • Perform billing-related tasks
  • Work closely with the Medical Technologists
  • Perform all procedures in accordance with laboratory protocols'
  • Comply with good laboratory practice as set out by the Laboratory Accreditation Programme of the College of American Pathologists
  • Report any adverse incidents to senior member of staff
  • Comply with all requirements of the Laboratory Safety Manual

Requirements :

  • At least secondary education / Nitec / Higher Nitec in relevant science field
