Salary: Up to $2,500 basic depending on experience Location: Tuas Working Days: 5 days per week Shifts: Rotating day and night shifts Allowances: Transport $110/month | Meal allowance $4 | Night shift allowance $10–$20 Industry: Manufacturing / Precision Engineering

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Mazak M5 and Mazak Power Master machines according to technical drawings and production requirements.
  • Verify routing sheets, drawings and raw material dimensions before machining.
  • Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to meet required specifications and tolerances.
  • Perform in-process inspections and record measurement results accurately.
  • Use measuring instruments to check product dimensions and quality.
  • Update production status in the VM system.
  • Identify and report defects, non-conforming products and production issues.
  • Follow quality management procedures and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain inspection tools, equipment and good housekeeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Requirements

  • NTC 2/3 in Precision Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant machining experience.
  • Experience operating Mazak M5 and/or Mazak Power Master machines is preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and profile projectors.
  • Willing and able to work rotating day and night shifts.
  • Open to a possible three-shift arrangement if introduced in the future.

Shift Timings

  • Day Shift: 7:30AM – 5:15PM
  • Night Shift: 7:30PM – 5:15AM
  • Shifts generally rotate on an approximately monthly basis.
